damn awsome! is that for PS2 as well? or xbox 360?
it's supposed to be on PS3 so it proably would be one of the launch titles once the PS3 comes out but hopefully it would be released for Xbox360 as well...but then again, who knows?

I decided to stick with Xbox360 for good. :D no need to get me a PS3 and Revloution anyway.

Whoa... very interesting!

I recently made a comment saying that I can't think of anything that could possibly be added in this game. Well, what I saw... I would have never thought of. It seems that Snake will have a robotic companion controlled by Octagon.

As for how many years, I don't think it's 10 years later. I think it's still undetermined. The video says "X years after the Big Shell" and MGS2 took place at Big Shell. "X" is just a variable... to make the player use his creative thinking to determine when this story might really be taking place. MGS2 took place a few years after MGS1. Snake hadn't aged much. Now, he looks like he's really aged a lot since MGS2 and 10 years doesn't sound long enough for much to happen. Perhaps, it was shorter or longer than 10 years. Anyway, this game should be interesting. It looks like we'll be dealing more with vehicles and robotic vehicles as well. :)

The biggest confusion I have about Solid Snake is that since we can tell he has some kind of special device in his left eye so I thought it would be the orginal Solid Snake from the prequel of MGS3 but then again...there is Octagon helping Snake and he looks abit older than he was in MGS and MGS2
but then again...would that be another prequel where the orginal Solid Snake knew Octagon before the other Solid Snake (son of the orginal solid snake in the orginal MGS) knew him? I dont know...I've heard somewhere that Kojima has said that MGS4 will be a sequel from the prequel of MGS3 which resumes the orginal Solid Snake's adventures before his son (actually, a clone) David aka Snake was born...and as you have seen the trailer where he was inside a building and then he started screaming in pain and had to take a shot to relieve himself...I mean, why's that? what's happening to him? So I can't really tell if that's the orginal Solid Snake who looks already aging and has a missing left eye from MGS3 or the other Solid Snake from MGS and MGS2.
Of course, characters from the MGS saga would make a return including Merly, Raiden, Vamp and obviously, Reslover. But as you have seen an earlier picture of the upcoming MGS game, there was a pic of a naked dude with a eye patch on his left eye so alot of people assumed that's the orginal solid snake aka Big Boss...but I thought he was supposed to be dead? ugh...it's so much more complicated than I thought it be. lol I guess we have to wait and see...even if I decided to get a PS3 sometime when it wouldn't make it on Xbox360.

I may actually have to get a game system for this. The only MG game I've played is Metal Gear Acid for PSP, and I found the storyline silly, yet intriguing. I tried viewing the trailer, and it appears to be a broken link.

Ive seen the trailer for MGS4 a while ago and I was like WTF poor Iroquois Pliskin should have retired from the spying/soldering business, but guess it is Solid Snake's stubborness that got him in the next adventure after the Big Shell mess....

What next the rations become Viagra in case poor Snake's energy becomes low?

rumors has it that Raiden will make a return in MGS4 and proably take place after Snake or something so I dunno...perhas he's as old as Snake and might be on a wheelchair or something? lol

NOT RAIDEN AGAIN! I hated it when I had to get a naked Raiden thru the Metal Gear's innards freezing his ass off!

Raiden should stay retired once for all lol
