McCain: Obama needs to get tougher on Iran

Liebling is right and I am embarrassed that I know NOTHING about her country.

First, there is NO evidence that Iran was having a false election. The MAJORITY of Iranians are conservative and support Ahmadinejad. Twitter and FB are NOT elections; they are mostly used by young generations and most Iranians are NOT internet-saavy.

Second, Mousavi IS NOT going to back off on weapons profilaeration. He supports nuclear weapon programs. He does NOT have any "liberal" views nor show sympathy for Western countries.

Third, no matter who gets the regime, either one is just plain evil and that's BECAUSE the Iranian people chose him.

Fourth, Iranians do NOT care what USA thinks. They hold low opinions of US government.

Fifth, it's best that we stay out of it and continue to pressure Iran to not develop nuclear weapons.

By the way, Obama is right on target. He knows that either way, Iran remains evil. McCain does not have a friggen clue.

Er, there is no compelling fact that this is the case that the majority supports Ahmadinejad. Were there checks and balances in this election process? What about other potential issues that may have prevented a clean election process? Are you saying that election fraud never took place when in fact it's a real possibility that it did happen?

In a lengthy statement, Mousavi detailed the various ills of the recent elections. These include restrictions on voting time, polling stations closed before the elections had ended, a shortage of ballots and irregularities in regards to the posting of monitors at the polling stations. In his letter Mousavi did not address the riots in Tehran on Saturday or throughout the previous week.

It's mostly heresy.

Truth is we don't know and an independent poll here did the polling there and found that many still support Ahmadinejad. Of course the protest may change the public opinion. It's no secret that public opinions are very fickle and can change a lot.

Again, even if it's legit, we shouldn't even bother to intervene in their politics. Let them fight. Remember American Civil War which was one of the bloodiest wars ever? How would you feel if another country decides to aid your opposition side?

Let Iran deal with its own political turmoil. We don't need to add more fire to their fire. Personally, I do root out for the protestors.

.
Er, it almost did. The South lost due to their inability to line up a sufficient number of powerful allies, namely Great Britain, for one, at the time. I suppose you never heard of the "Trent Affair"?

Righto. And because of that we're able to gain independence and freedom from an oppressive country.

Trying to figure out how to say "Say what?" in American Indian language.
Sorry, couldn't resist. *red-faced*

Liebling is right and I am embarrassed that I know NOTHING about her country.

quick facts for you -
1. Germany is one of the very few crucial allies for America
2. one of the most important and major strategic locations in Europe that covers Asia and Middle East
3. it provides advanced security team and expertise for Air Force One to foreign location as Germany is one of the leading countries in counterterrorism
4. Although Germany is one of the most crucial support for America (military-wise), its government is rather critical of us but it's usually kept separate :)
5. Germany is the first stop for all injured American soldiers from abroad missions before going home to America
6. uuummm..... what am I missing....

I'm not talking to you, just only to Liebling.

then your question is moot.

Just because you refuse to answer it doesn't make it moot. It simply means that you cannot explain the logic behind your statement.

A moot question is irrelevant. Therefore, Jillio's question is not moot. It is pertinent to this discussion.

I don't care.

Both of you will never got my answer.

I'm just appeal with Liebling about provoke against our country, period.
