Yes, the official release date was today but the movie theater near here got it early and decided to show it early. It was supposed to be open captioned on Friday but they also got the OC version early too. They had four viewing times for the regular version and one viewing time for the OC version. The regular versions were all sold out immediately. The OC version was almost sold out.

Where am I from? I'm from Rochester, NY. The movie theater here that shows OC movies is Regal Cinema Henrietta 18.

I saw Matrix reloaded last night. its fucking great.. the action hasnt stopped for almost 30 mins.. damn it.. its not over.. the end said to be continue... I cant wait to see matrix 3 on Nov....

Damn Neo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad2: :mad2:

By the way, today I downloaded that movie off torrent.. its as almost good as theatre..

Okay, I saw the movie last night.

I have to say that I did enjoy the hell out of it. For your information, special effects isn't the important part.

It's the story.

First movie was about birth, second is about life, and the final is about death.

It's like a new version of the Jesus Christ story (even though I'm not religious, but it's still fascinating). You have to THINK very deeply in order to connect to the movie. It's not a no-brainer trilogy, it was never intended to be.

But too bad a lot of people think it's just about the actions.

 why are you saying jesus and shit? the movie does not talk about religion. the movie talks about the relationship between man and machine. if man can live without machines and if machines can live without man.

do you know what reevolution mean ? re means to REpeat and EVOLUTION means life and adaptation so they put it together and called it reevolution. to repeat life and adaptation...

When the machines first created the matrix, a certain amount of humans would always reject the program and they couldn't correct this error. The oracle was basically in charge of making the matrix as fail proof as possible so it would jive with the human mind and not be rejected by their nature. However, an anomolie would always appear that they could do nothing about. That would be a single man inside of it who could do whatever the hell he wanted. He couldn't be stopped, he couldn't be killed, and they couldn't control his actions. It may have been an inherent flaw within the matrix, a glitch, divine intervention, a messiah sent from heaven, or whatever. In order to make sure that this "one" never realizes his full potential, they made it seem like he's actually doing something. Without controlling him, they made it seem like he's "freeing his people". So basically they would let him return to the "source" free people, and start the resistence. Each time the machines find and locate Zion, destroy it, and let another resistence start. This process would continue over and over again, and had been going on for hundreds of years, and this was currently the 6th cycle. This whole resistence and zion is basically just another part of human control by the machines. They LET the humans be saved, get free, and start a resistence against the machines. It's all planned out, and the One, Morpheus, and everyone else don't even realize it. The oracle WAS helping them in the original movie, but she is basically just a part of the machine's plan. What happens at the end of Reloaded however is that Neo (who's decisions can't be stopped since he can do whatever he wants within the Matrix) chooses not to "reload" the matrix and start the process over again, but instead he rushes to save Trinity. Now the matrix will suffer a critical error, and Zion may or may not be destroyed anyway, but basically the whole process is screwed now and the machines plan has been changed. Neo keeps popping up. He's indestrucible, can't be killed, can control anything, and is destined to save mankind from machine slavery. The machines can't do anything to stop it. So they devised a plan where Neo keeps thinking that he's saving the world, and the cycle keeps repeating. A messiah pops up again, and the cycle repeats. In the 6th cycle, Neo finally decides not to start the process again, and the machines plan has finally been changed. This is where the movie basically ends.

zion is destroyed at the end, only few people survived because they were not there, only one person survived the attach and they are wondering why is he really the "one" or is he the next person to work for the matrix

we don't know for sure, neo is the one because in the real world he was able to stop the machines. he had superpowers in the real world not in the matrix unless the real world is a bigger part of the matrix.

Thats what I am saying, they think they are out of the matrix.
but maybe the matix is creating this world that seems to be the real world but it is all the same matrix just making thinik they are free but really they are not that is what i think but neo did reload the matrix he choose the wrong door the matrix is reloaded

he had to choose the door on the right instead of the left the door on the right would save zion but trinity gets killed because he believes he is the one and can save his girlfriend and save Zion at the same time but its not going to happen the door on the left (he choose this door) reloaded the matrix but trinity is saved

I never said that it was about Jesus Christ, but the story are somehow similar. Why?

Because Neo is the "One". It's like he is a God.

Ever heard of Philosophy?

The Matrix is really written heavily with philosophy in it. Special effects only add more impact to the storyline. Nothing more.

Besides, I wasn't talking about religion. But there are some elements that are similiar to the religious tales.

Yes, it's purely about the mankind vs. machines. But it's not just about that.

Trust me, if you study philosophy. You'll know what I'm talking about. The movies has a lot of hidden messages in them.

<<< SPOILER >>>

At the end of Reloaded, in reality... instead of virtual reality... Neo actually stopped the machines with his powers.

That proves that he's not just capable of doing amazing things in virtual reality, but in reality too.

<<< END OF THE SPOILER >>>

The reason why The Matrix is so popular is because it's all about philosophy. Even the website has it!

Go check it out at www.whatisthematrix.com

They have tons of philosophy stuff for you to look at.

I've finally seen "The Matrix: Reloaded" tonite and i just gotta say about this sequel...

SSSSSSSSSSSSSMASHIN' FLICK OF 2003 EVER!

This action packed brawler was TONS better than the orginal, filled with kung fu fights, thrills, and so many actions that speak a thousand words was absloutely one of the most impressive, coolest, science-fiction thriller i've ever seen in years! :)

Reeves and other cast of the sequel did a terrific job and i look forward to Matrix 3 coming this fall. :)

Have fun becoming a kung fu killin' machine online! :P lol
