Lotions

I have tried finding the right kind of lotion for me. It took years and years of testing out a large variety of lotions and brands. I hated Jergens and Olay. Way too oily and greasy for me, ugh! So, I stuck with Bath&BodyWorks antibacterial hand lotions for a while. Then, one day, I went to a local laundromat/tanning salon in Utah and saw a tester bottle of lotion. It's called Hempz. Once I tried it, I FELL in love with it!! It feels great and smells awesome, too!! Downside to this lotion is that it is SOOOOO expensive! You can check out one of lotions on this website!!

Please write something about your lotion ventures and how you found your favorite lotion brand!

Does it smell like hemp?

I really love Origins lotions - they work so well on my hands and skin. I was given a bottle two years ago for Christmas and fell in love with their products immediately. I love all of their scents and how well they stick to skin, not rub off due to being greasy.

I also love Bath&Body Lavender Vanilla lotion. Lavender/Vanilla are my favorite scents so it is nice to find one that has both.

ya perv! :P The lotion is too thick for you-know-what!

I have really dry hands and elbows. Sometimes my knuckles crack and bleed from the winter air. Plus, I sign ASL often, so it helps to have comfortable hands.

i had recently found out from my doc that im allergic to a particular lotion ive used the last couple weeks  SOOOOO now im trying to find (hampered cuz i just HATE shopping) the lotion that was recommended to me for my DRY skin in the winter season GRRRR gosh i HATE winters!

Winter rocks! :slap: Fly Free.

I am using Aubery Organic's hand lotion - Rosa Mosqueta: Luxurious Hand & Body Lotion. Link: http://www.aubrey-organics.com/product1.cfm?product_id=100

Actually with 'good' fats that I consume, my skin stopped getting dry or 'rough' so I didn't use it that much.. I think I only use it 15 - 20 times in 2004.

Magatsu -- ive looked at the link u provided -- i would give it a try and see how it goes -- thanks!

If it did, I'm sure people could just pour a bunch in a bowl and heat it up on an oven. Next, they simply use it as an inhalant. ;)

Nope.. One of the main ingredients is the oil from the hemp seed. The fragrance smells somewhat tropical. I can't identify what the smell is something fruity or flowery (it's not "girly" scented), but, trust me, it smells GREAT!

I use Amber Romance Hand and Body lotions Luxuries from Bath & Body Shop, it smells really good. It also helps me with my hands because my hands always get dry during the winter time. I use that lotion only for my hands.

LOL at Angel... :)

This is a matter of individual preferences depend
on your skin and what kind of soap do you use ?
Try to avoid using soaps such as Dial or Ivory....
Try "superfatted" soaps such as Basis, Neutrogena
or Dove. Its more effective to apply moisturizers
to damp skin immediately after bathing/washing
than to put it on totally dry skin...

The one you chose Hempz seem very nice but
maybe difficult to find it at any stores. Bath & Body
stores are great.. I strongly believe in having 2 lotions:
one expensive lotion for special occasions and
another one as an inexpensive lotion for daily basis.

I still do NOT have any favorites yet...I'm still looking for one.
I tend to avoid "Fragrance" (e.g. Lavendar, etc)
or flowery for any possible allergic to dry skins...
so that way I can use perfume spray instead of
fragrance lotion.

This one is pretty good...
(sold almost everywhere and it is relatively inexpensive)

Ack! I can't use that Lubriderm lotion!! It hurts my cracked knuckles. :\

A friend of mine likes to use that fragrance-free Aveeno rehydrating lotion. I never tried that one yet.
