Let's suppose there is a law or court order ...Do you think that starving someone is an act of murder ?...Please be gentle with one another on our views and opinions here in this thread because I know that this is a very touchy and sensitive issue and I don't want to see this thread going out of hand here...

Thank you!

Definately..... just like starving your children is considered neglect..... I think if they die from starvation, it would be murder

I agree Simpleman.

Yes I believe it is murder, Nobody should have the right to take anyone's life.

I consider it as a murder, for example you are putting someone's life on risk on purpose by not feeding/neglecting them when they don't deserve such things like that.

While Terri is still breathin' on her own without feedin' tube and water - yes, it is a murder to let her die without feedin' tube and water WHILE she is breathin' ( alive )....not like Karen Ann Quilan. Karen Ann Quilan was breathin' on her own without respiratory machine and yet was fed. She died by natural cause after 9 years of coma. Terri's case is a big different. It's a murder by refusin' 'feedin'" tube and water.

I'm soooo glad to hear this and so glad that I'm not alone in this, Thank you everyone!!! :ily:

Refusing food and water to someone is murder. It is also cruel. They are not even allowing her parents to put ice chips in her mouth to moisten it.

Yes, its murder. She is breathing on her own, she moves her head and eyes and very responsive with smiles, few words.. just her body is not functional... no food or water... thats neglect....

I am not surprise that "if" she dies.. it will be nasty, suing the judges and doctors for "murder" her.. even her dumbass husband...

I looked back.. my old neighbor at the cabin.. there's a boy now 11 years old.. he's blind, deaf, down sydrome and tube feeding to his tummy.. and not potty trained yet.. If we pull the plug.. he will go strave, slowly dying.. I couldnt image that what Terri is going through.. suffering, feelings, pains and helpless..
thats make me mad.. even if your dog strave.. you go jail.. sigh..

whats more.. its husband.. he wants her die.. so he get inheriance.. almost more than 1/2 million dollars.. sheesh

Thank you so much Reba and MsGiglz, I totally agree with both of you girls! :grouphug: ...

When I saw Terri's mother on the news at 11:00 pm she was crying and flipping out saying to save her daughter. It was one heartbreaking moment I've ever witness on the news. :tears:

Aww, that's sad.
I think the Nurses who work with Terri for 15 years, feeling awful to ignored Terri's last few days of living.

I think starving, suffocation, and drowing are awful and painful to die.

It's murder to me.

Yes, Tamara It is really bad....

If someone thinks starvation isn't so bad, then why not try it and see how would that feels. If anyone watches Survivors how they don't have that much food on the island, and they become very weak and emotions and don't have enough energy. They hated it, they even complained. The body needs food and that was all Terri needs was food to keep her alive. I just wondered how Terri is feeling now, if she knows what is going on? I bet she is clueless and wondering why she not getting food or water. That's so sad if you ask me. :(

Yes Cheri, even people who lost in the Bush for few days with no foods or drinks, they chose to drink their own urines in order to keep alive, they understand it is awful.

If I skip a meal, it will give me a bad headache!!

Well, if a person dies from any reason that is caused by a person who is killing him, that's called a murder. Starvation, poision, shooting, beating to death, and so on.

What about people who go on a hunger strike for a cause as a protest? is that suicide too?

Why isnt a vet charged for putting your pet to sleep,, Is that murder too? You know why you cant use dignity to humans and have to hire lawyers to put the person to death? Because youre a burden to the goverment. Your pets dont pay taxes, spend money or have a bank account like people do. Pets have no value to the goverment or the insurance companies. But you do. Thats why youll have to go all though the bullshit try make your loved one die in dignity.

How did Terri occur into coma ? Wasn't it a car accident?

Sabrina, Terri is not in a coma. She has severe brain damage. How she got that way is a matter of contention. Her "Husband" (dayum I hate calling him that!) says that she collapsed because of a mineral deficiency brought on by an eating disorder. Others point to some tests done years ago that showed healed broken ribs, other bones, and skull fractures. He won't allow modern tests like the MRI and PET tests to examine her. That is one of the reasons Florida Social Services is trying to get involved. There are allegations of physical abuse.
