Krispy Kreme, Dunkin' Donuts, or other chain?

I just came back from Krispy Kreme. I had two donuts, and could eat 10 more if they were in front of me. Yum!

I also like Dunkin' Donuts for different reasons - they are a cake donut and I can eat one and it will satisfy me. I also think they have the best coffee.

What do you all think? Krispy Kreme or D&D - or someplace completely different?
 
I like Kripsy Kreme donuts the best...especailly the chocolate dounuts...ooh baby! :P
 
The chocolate donuts are REALLY good! I love'm too!

Did you ever try the Hot Kreme drink they sell? Let me know if it's any good. The guy behind the counter said it wasn't that good, but curiosity is getting the better of me.
 
Oh yeah, that's right,they give you a free donut. I forgot about that.

They told me tonight that if I bring in tonights receipt for my two donuts the next time I buy a dozen donuts, they'll give me another dozen free. Imagine that!

Nuthin at all. In fact, the guy told me and encouraged me to take my receipt because of it. Krispy Kreme Rt 1 Saugus, Massachusetts is where I was told. Maybe it's everywhere. You should check.
 
hmmm.... maybe I will check, except I have to drive 30 miles one way to Krispy Kreme......... :lol:
 
30 MILES??? Oh you poor thing. It's easier for me to FedEx you a box of them overnight express mail!

Please tell me you have a donut shop around you somewhere. BTW, as you saw, I'm from Massachusetts. Where ya from?
 
Krispy Kreme's doughnuts are good, yes, but they're a tad bit too sweet for my liking.
 
i personally like Dunkin' donuts better.. because they have a wide variety of donuts.. however krispy kreme is delicous, yet pricy
 
Krispy Kreme is good! Last time I had some last week at my work, they were sitting around on the table when I was doing custodial work, I swiped one cuz it was leftovers while late at night. I had some fresh krispy kreme at South Seattle Krispy Kreme store near downtown, about 2 months ago. :D

:P I love the Dunkin Donuts with the chocolate and vanilla cream inside. But, in all fairness to Krispy Kremes, I have never had one. What are they like? I have heard so many good things about them.

Im from WA state, and live on an island....... the closest Krispy Kreme is 30 miles away, or I am just stuck with stale old doughnuts from a grocery store like Safeway or Albertsons........ :(
 
The Krispy Kreme in Charleston serves the doughnuts hot off the conveyer belt as they make them. You can sit at the counter and watch your doughnut being made. They have a neon light outside the front of the building that lights up when the doughnuts are ready.

The Krispy Kreme in Charleston is also the only kosher one in South Carolina.
 
prefer dunkin donuts over krispy kreme -- but will eat Krispy Kreme when offered or have a donut craving
