I got this via email today

Hi, How do you do?

THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY IS ALSO FOR THE DEAF AND HOH.

My name is Eric Munroe. I just came about your email address and your
brief profile through an email listing affiliated with the US Chamber of
Commerce and I would be very interested in offering you a part-time paying
job in which you could earn alot.

This job would be based on contract and commission terms, it is a
part-time job and it would involve quite a handful of trust and honesty. If
you would be interested in including a good-paying, part time job to your
daily list of activities and earning up to $4000, then you could kindly
reply my email and I would be glad to brief you more.

Please bear it in mind that this job has nothing to do with sales or
marketing, I just have an offer that you may find very good.

Thank You

Eric Munroe.

I don't recall opting in a mailing list that is affiliated with the US Chamber of Commerce so weird isn't it?

It's a junk mail, scraping the cyber mail into shredding machine and recycling then make new cyber mail designs lol

Probably a SCAM. She left you a European email address. Kinda like those Nigerian scams. ;)

ROFL. You should be a professor of mathematical spam. ;)

I got same one in my email and deleted it because I felt it is a scam.

Another scam

Hello, My name is Krista Marie and I have anew born baby named Natalie. She means the world to me, and just recently, the doctors have discovered that my little Natalie has Brain Cancer. Unfortunately my husband and I don't have the money to pay for the bill. But my husband and I have worked out a deal with AOL and they have agreed to give us 5 cents to each person that received this e-mail. So please, forward this to everyone you know, and help out my little Natalie and I.

This is part of an e-mail that I got yesterday from a friend. I'm not 100% sure, but my gut tells me that it's a scam. Am I right?

check the snope site to see if it is real or false :)

The two emails posted on this thread so far have both been complete scams. Think logically:

1) A person decides to use hotmail and a UK yahoo email address for collecting your personal data. It's a scam to find out not only your name and address, but also your bank account, credit cards, and social security number. He even asks you to trust him right up front. That's definitely a big sign that he's going to ask you to do something uncomfortable, but hey, you promised to trust him, right?

2) NO COMPANY, not even Microsoft or AOL or anyone, makes deals to forward emails "around the world" to pay anything. Do not collect soda pop pull tabs for kidney dialysis time, or empty cigarette packs for a wheelchair, or bottle caps for a seeing eye dog, or any other fake-but-wish-it-was-so-good-to-be-true something for nothing folklore.
