And that is what Scott Brown exact did that helped him win the seat. Croakley didn't. She expected her own party affiliation was enough to win the votes and she was entitled to it. The people of Massachussetts saw right through this bs.

well that "goal" is what I hear all the time, especially from our recently-elected NJ Republican Governor. Let's hope both of them will follow thru it.

You forgot about something, lol.

2006 midterm election that where democratic party made first to tookover congress, both of senate and house that hasn't been for long time, around since Jan 1995 so it doesn't regain the control until Jan 2007.

Both democrat and republicans has been hit so hard in years to years, if republican regain the control in 2010 so they will fall in any years.

No. I didn't forget anything. You just didn't make it clear on what you were saying.

And if any blame then it's all on the Democrats' side ever since 2007 since it was they who helped pass bills to their favor (or so they thought). If any blame today, it goes back to 2007 with them at the helm.

It is really nothing news, it has been since around 1960's and 1970's, even republican regained to control the senate in early 1980's but house democrats are split into 2, conservative democrat and liberal democrat in past, many conservative politicians are side or shift to republican in 1994 to make democrat as more liberal instead of split into 2 different views.

Perhaps Maria is like me and Chooses the best candidate for the Country rather than only supporting those that match our personal beliefs. Just a thought.

What's more, people in a heavily Democrat state called "Massachussetts" voted for a Republican senator. That's a serious shot across bow to Democrats in Congress. It's the reckless spending that are what people getting angry over thanks to Obama's insistence of overspending an additional $1.4 trillion dollars for 2009.

So far, Democrats are 0-3 with a Republican governor in NJ, another Republican governor in Va and a Republican Senator for the state of Massachussetts.

I know that Scott Brown don't support gay marriage but rather to support civil unions, that's acceptable to me, the define about some soft on GLBT rights, it means he support some part of GLBT, not completely.

I checked Scott Brown's profile and his views so no question asked.
