Hey Reba, That is cool !!!! I am curious what were they bombing at the air show?
The A10's were "strafing" the ground from the air in those pictures.

They also re-enacted Pearl Harbor "dog fights" with American and Japanese planes. I didn't get pictures of those; they moved too fast!

Whoa !!!! That would have been awesome !!!! Next time you go to an air show make a note to bring a video camera then can download to the computer next year ?

I bet that was a very loud roar with the A-10's doing a strafe run !!!!!

Don't have one but if I did then I would keep that one because it would be something I would never loan out because I will never see my video camera back because many Deaf people love video cameras. It is expensive but worth it once you do have a video camera. :deaf:

Those Blue Angels definitely put on a good show. I live right down the street from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The day before the funeral we were awakened by the Blue Angels practicing formations right over our house. They flew around for a couple of hours, practicing for the funeral. The following day, we watched the funeral on TV. When the voiceover announced that the planes were leaving the library, we walked out the front door and watched them fly off overhead.

I love the Blue Angels.

Their home base was NAS Pensacola when we lived in base housing there. They practiced their routines over our houses on a regular basis. Whoa!

For one year while I working with the Public Affairs Office, several of the civilian and military young ladies (myself included) would accompany the Blue Angels to air shows to sell Blue Angels souveneirs. The money was collected for the new aviation museum that was being built at NASP. We flew in the support plane, not the Phantoms. :)
