I saw that earlier it was all over the news this afternoon. How sad. :( I watch the 5 lap tribute to him as well.
 
My favorite racer Greg Moore #99 got killed in indy car crash, and now this. It's time for indy to adjust their cars for a better safety, maybe add cage on top to prevent from getting head-slammed into the wall?!?
 
Very sad. I feel bad for his family if they were watching at the time. Horrible way to go, and sad to see a life ended so young.
 
It's amazing this doesn't happen more often. I was at TMS in 2010 when Silvestri had her firey wreck. I thought for sure she was dead yet she walked away.

Dan weldon was supposed to be in Gold Coast, Queensland Australia in for the Holden racing team for Gold Coast 400 next week.
