I REALLY hope there's something invented like on the sci fi films where infront of someone is an invisable screen and you just have to press a button and subtitles will come up for what they're saying when they're speaking

Or a sign language interpreter for people who prefer sign language.

It would be seriously awesome, and so much easier

Krissy, there is subtitles screenings in the UK for films but they are only at specific times only on specific films. They are usually on Tues, Sun and occasionally sat

I know there are, however I've never been, I have nobody to go with lol
I don't know anybody that's deaf and people that I know tend to be annoyed by subtitles, it annoys me a heck of a lot that they're not considerate to put subtitles on the tv for me etc when it's my own family lol

Hopefully I'll go sometime in the future though I miss the cinema

It looks like you need something similar in Manchester. Maybe you could set up a group yourself? Isn't there another ADer who lives in Manchester? (Lissa)
