I've been having lots of seizures in the last few days, all of the sudden. So I scheduled an appointment to do my scans and to change my medication. I'm also having high fever among other problems.
I'm sitting in the doctor's office, literally scared to death, when someone sits next to me. It's my oncologist, who treated me during the last three months. He looked at me and said, "Today I'm not your doctor. I'm your friend." And he stayed with me during the whole time, to make sure things were okay. He even followed me home to make sure I didn't have an accident (since no one was there to drive me home, even though I've been having series of serious seizures for the last few days). I was really touched by his kindness. *sniff*
