I was right all along by warning you about john kerry!!

It also shows about John Kerry is a caring person likely like some of the repubicans. That is one of the reason why I like John Kerry, He isn't a selfish person like Bush for one. I applause Kerry all the way and I am sure God is proud of him too. :thumb:

Hmm... that does not look like a very valid website. :dunno:

The link is valid. Ravensteve's interpretation of the news story is mixed up. John Kerry is not defending Sadam. Ramsey Clark, a supporter of Kerry, is defending Sadam.

Carefully re-read this excerpt from the linked story:

"A former U.S. attorney general who worked on anti-Vietnam war protests with failed presidential candidate John Kerry has joined Saddam Hussein's legal defense team.

Ramsey Clark told the BBC that he was teaming up with Saddam's Jordanian based lawyers in order to protect the accused war criminal's legal rights...."

Ahh... figures!

I know,,But when a supporter of a democratic party defends an evil tyrant it should go noticed thats how they are. I want a president who will stand up for america fight against evil tyrants and the democrats are simply liberals who would just turn the other cheek if were attacked.

Well, the problem is... NewsMax.com is not entirely reliable. They have a very biased aspect, especially when they declare to be a conservative-managed website.

They make every attempt to put down any liberals which is why I don't care too much for the website. I prefer a balanced viewpoint, rather than having personal grudges. Personal grudges can really ruin a website.

Steve, if you "I know" then at least admit you were making a joke instead of acting like you're all serious.

On the other hand, since you're proclaiming that Saddam is an evil tyrant and saying anyone who defends him, even in court, supports him, I'm gonna have to say you don't sound like a true American. EVERYONE deserves to get a fair trial. Being a lawyer defending someone even if you don't necessarily like them means you've got the true American spirit.

I want a president who will fight against evil tyrants, too. That includes "evil tyrants" who automatically think that if we're not with them, they're against them.

OK. How about this source?
Ramsey Clarke to defend Saddam
Wednesday 29 December 2004, 20:36 Makka Time, 17:36 GMT

Former US attorney-general Ramsey Clark is to join Saddam Hussein's defence team, a spokesman for the ousted Iraqi president's lawyers says.

Did american lawyers ever defend the nazis in their trials?
I don't know, but I do know that we were involved in a huge trial... Nuremberg Trials.

I was just listing the other links that support Ravensteve's original link. They are same topic, just different sources.
