I have a tricky question for ya..

I'd lie to his @$$, I will be ready when he finds out it wasn't the truth.
 
simple - I will not tell him. why? because if i tell him, he will kill us anyway. if he kills her - simple he's not going to get any single word out of me and he can't kill me anyway.
 
If I were deaf, I'd tell the person I am deaf and write down all the schitt (full lies) in a piece of paper.
 
I would go with what my girlfriend would want me to do. If I loved her, and she wanted to save the other hundreds of people, I would do it, despite how much I loved her. Now if she said, screw it, save me, I would save her too. Love is too fragile of a thing.

Then again.... the lives of the hundreds of other people are important as well. Tough one. What would you do?
 
Id never put myself in that position in the first place. But to answer your question the way you designed for it to be answered... id do neither and just take my chances with my own life. Give up the girl? If she was a hooker, yes. If she was my wife, fuck no. And to protect national security that concerned the lives of hundred, thousands, millions? Wouldnt be the first time someones died for their country.

I would probably do the same. Can't imagine how I'd live if I was responsible for the death of innocent people.
 
If I was in this situation, and let's assume I know a lot of good moves as that'd be necessary in my line of work. Yup, one distraction then a good karate chop to the head (doesn't matter which one) should do it. Or the hand that is holding the gun.. then ka-pow right on the kisser to ensure he is out cold. I'd cuff him, and radio in the cops to take this joker away. Then jump into my batmobile with lover and zoom off into the sunset.
 
You all seem to assume that the guy will keep his word after getting the information. What's to stop him from killing both of you after he gets what he wants?
 
There's no way of knowing that he wouldn't just kill you both once you told him. If I got the opportunity I would grab the gun. If not I would tell him that I didn't know (like it's so top secret they wouldn't even tell me...), but that I knew how to get the information (somewhere else). That way there's more likelihood of living.
 
What if the gunman is 10 feet away, and you are required to run?

oh yes...there is third option - me. he may kill
me. for trying what liza would do (yaaaah!). that would be my first strategy along with winking codes to my lover for assistance but...,

to answer your question - hundreds of people hurts more than two of us so.. my strategy would be either trying my best; act out, kneel and cry like you're not telling any lies while you're making up facts then you'll know if he's gonna kill you (guys) first - typically guys would snatch girls....right? but in this case, he would kill my lover first; I'm a girl.

or, in same way - let him kill my lover and again, he won't get any information from me as he may shoot me also. I can say, shoot me. go ahead and shoot me. more likely he wouldn't because I'm 'all he has' for information. I rather that than living with either my lover or hundreds of people dead. I mean, I don't have to live to be that selfish.

still, the first strategy would be my first choice - always try your best. under any circumstances.

Okay... My opinion...

I can make a beautiful lie to fool a vile person so my lover and hundreds of people certianly will not die for sure.

But if you want one optional...

1 - A lover alive and hundreds of people dead.
2 - A lover deads and hundreds of people alive.

I consider the #1 is more selffishful choice than #2, so I chose hundreds of people over my lover...
