wow, I never see funnel cake in my life until this thread here... It sound good after read the recipe... I beleive my boys will love it. I'm going to try it some time this week or next week.


About salt - it says 1/4 salt which mean is less than half of teaspoon salt. I would sprinkle salt - very little salt... I am surprised to find salt in funnel cake recipe... because I baked the cookies and cakes real alot and never add salt.

FlexKat.. ouch.. 1/4 cup of salt.. you are not only one, it happens to me few times.. my mind exhausted or excited..

Funnel Cakes are often desserts.. because it can be vary for kids want to add to it.. like whipping cream with blueberries or strawberries or bananas.. or just chocolate.. for me powder sugar will just enuff .. lol..

same recipe you got that i use but i add 1 tsp. lemon juice to brust the taste ..

its fun making but kids want to make.. careful with hot oil..
