HTC EVO 4G vs Iphone 4G

If you want a long battery on HTC EVO, get fat-ass battery, it's like you're carry a brick. Oh damn...

 That's only if you order Evo's back cover and carve a hole for battery then build battery cover on top of the hole.

I read the article about Samsung Moment blog. It was funny tho.

I understand that there is a solar battery recharger...about 50 bucks, I think. Two of my friends just got EVOs and they have thirty days to return it. So far they are disappointed so.....we shall see.

Git it on Ebay!!! Don't buy any accessories at Sprint Store!! They're rip off. A saleswoman whispered me that I could get it cheap through Ebay than off the Sprint's rack.

I bought retractable Automotive cellular charger (Micro USB) for $4.66 each. I bought two of them so one for my truck and one for my work truck. That was the time when I had Samsung Moment.

Right now, my Evo didn't need charger to keep it charged. I had good battery all day.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Jul 12, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Today, Sprint (NYSE:S) launched 4G service in Rochester, N.Y., Syracuse, N.Y., Merced, Calif., Visalia, Calif., Eugene, Ore., Tri-Cities, Wash., and Yakima, Wash. These seven metropolitan areas add to the growing list of markets that are 4G-enabled and mark the first 4G launches for New York and California. If they are not satisfied, they can cancel service and have the opportunity to be fully reimbursed.1 Sprint also offers simplicity and savings vs. competitors with Everything Data plans, which include unlimited Web, texting and calling while on the Sprint network for one low price.

"We are hearing a lot of positive feedback from our 4G customers who are using HTC EVO and mobile broadband connectivity," said Matt Carter, president of 4G, Sprint. "People are hungry for faster wireless speeds, 3G/4G smartphones and unlimited data plans - and, Sprint offers all of these. With Sprint 4G, we are entering a new world of wireless possibilities."

I am fine with stock battery for now. My Evo lasted me a day! I check Email, sent Text msg, I did browse net sometime. But the battery's good. I turned off GPS, WiFi, 4G, Polling. My Evo screen set to auto brightness. I don't have issue tho.

If I use GPS, or some apps that uses battery, I would buy Innocell battery.

Wait for Evo Dragon, computerlover to tell you the result.

I went to Hutchinson, KS for ZVRS presentation last Saturday. I show many deafie my new Evo. Many are so fantasicated over my new "toy". iPhone with Facetime will be out soon BUT I heard that many deafie prefer Evo over iPhone because of Sprint payment is cheaper.

I finally got a first videochat with my friend using Qik. NEEEAAATTOOO!!! Although it was on 3G network, It was a bit choppy and did froze for a min. I had to hang up and wait for a min then call again because my friend's Evo got locked up. Eventually it ran fine. I would expect that 4G would make thing so smooth. Like I mentioned above post that 4G in my area is spotty so did my friend. It's not too bad that we were able to read ASL sign. Just slow down a bit so it won't be blurry. it's a starter for Mobile VideoChat!!

Since the Sprint 4G coverage for EVO does not exist in my area AND the iPhone 4 reception failure, therefore I just say both are useless for me as of now. (shaking head)

Only the difference is that the EVO really works but there is 4G no avail.

I wonder how the Apple (the sucker this time) would react to its mass iPhone 4 reception failure... will they recall them? I wonder.

I was going to buy me a new pager but it seems leaving me out of choices for now. Bummed!
