How is your house or apartment heated?

live in apt, use temp abt 68 to 70.. but in my room, nooooooooooooo must CLOSE the VENT! i cant stand heat!
 
use natural gas forced heat system. wish i have a fireplace so i can burn wood to keep my house warm.. and keep the gas bill low. gas bill for a 1,400 sq feet house cost me $130 a month druing 10 degree average temp. however i had the state pay for my gas for winter month which helps :D

Ouch, that IS expensive! We have a two-story house, 2,200 sq ft, and our electric bill is less than that. That includes EVERYTHING electric, heat, AC, washer/dryer, water heater, etc.
 
Natural gas furnace with forced air and we set it around 69 degrees in the house.. :thumb:
 
Natural gas with forced air system and automatic settings. I set the house temperature at 71. The heater does heat up the house quickly. Less than a hour. ;)

proballyu expensive since my house use natural gas on almost everything.. $130 isn't for heat alone.. its also for water heater, stove, regrifrator( i think). since i love using alot of hot water and i always cook on my stove (mostly oven). druing summer months no heat is involved and the gas bill is only $16 a month..
or uh.. maybe its cuz that my heat system is old.. in fact its 12 yrs old.. and its not engery star heating..

i always set my temp at 68 degrees.. and when i'm out of town more than 3 days i set temp at 60 degrees.

also i'm aware that each state have its variety of pricing code.. i live in minnestoa and is under centeral point engery ( former minneagasco) and its cost is $1.03 per therm

I keep my heater to 65 degrees F. I think it is gas. I like gas because it's cheaper than electric!
