How Honest are you?

I don't take someone's else money but if I found a bag of money, well that would be me>>> :hyper:
 
If I found it, and there's no contact information I would keep it :whistle: but if there is contact information then I would do the right thing.
 
If Im on the street and starving, I would take the $200 and give the wallet to the gas attendant :)

Years ago, I went to Las Vegas with friends and somehow lost my $100 gambling fun money and was very upset :mad: I was college student at the time and on ssi so didn't have the $$ to burn...About a week or so later, I got a letter in mail at my dorm. It was money order $100 from the hotel I stayed at. I was shocked and but was happy to get my money back :D
 
It happen recently, a bit different... few month ago i was showing an deaf student how to use auto teller machine to get the money out... this deaf student used own card etc... couldnt put in her card... I looked on the screen and see someone left their bank card in it... so for sure it would be easy someone took money out of the ATM...

So what i did... I cancelled the bank thingy... and took out the card... I didn't check out any $$$ in it as it none of my business... I took the bank card to the nearest store which it was an cafe... and explained to them that someone left their bankcard in the ATM so if someone turns up and asked about their bankcard etc.
 
Becareful of ATM machines.They have hidden cameras in there.But cameras at Gas Stations only look for people stealing gas, not money.
 
Yep ATM does have cameras in the machines... Im aware of that..

Since the Deaf student learning how to use ATM for first time etc how to take out their own $$ ie $20 to take out etc... So i was helping Deaf student step by step... without knowing their own pin number etc. So someone left their bank card in it, once we arrive at the ATM..

thats a off point.. i mean u took themoney and saying goverment isnt being honest.. and what if the owner isnt even governer or anything. it doesnt matter if the owner is a governer or whatever. the point is you dont take money out even there is a driver licesnce in it and u could simply return it back to the owner!

This happened to the car in front of me. The driver drove away, leaving her card there. So, I reinserted it until it kept the card, as I didn't enter the pin. Then I proceeded to do my own transaction. I did this because I did not want to carry the card with me, nor have it in my car.

And that, my friend, is called Karma. Something you'd better pay attention to. You shouldn't blame your actions on the government.

Now about the money, the sad truth is, many people would probably keep the money. However, that doesn't justify your actions. If I were you, I'd try to find a way to to return the money. It's actually a good thing to do, and you might actually feel better about yourself instead of being so bitter and angry all the time about things.

Sadly, many people would. However, I believe that an attempt should be made to return money if found. But, you're right. If an attempt is made, and no one claims the money, then yes, you have a right to keep it.

I need to ask you something..If you know that most of us are gonna think you're a selfish jerk for things like this, why do you even bother to post and say "I'm keeping the money..." ? You know we're not gonna agree with your approach, so why do you even bother???????

Just to piss us off? My guess is yes.
 
Listen Brezzy,,,Of course all of you gonna will say ill return the money.But would you really return the money with $200 in the wallet? Thats like a bonus raise to me.My boss wouldnt give me a raise even i ask.But all those congress politicans voted themselves a raise which they dont deserve a raise!!! and bush apointed an idiot "Ben Bernanke" whos worse than Alan Greenspan who raised the intrest rates twiced to make the middle class and poor people pay intrest rates when theyre in debt.But he couldnt even reduce the national debt himself! The day our goverment shows honesty to the people is the day ill be honest.
