How do you learn the current weather?

What main source do you use to learn about the current weather?

What do you use to find out about today's weather (or in future weather)? From a free or a premium desktop program on your computer? From TV on weather news? In your daily newspaper? From any other source? Or do you don't check with the weather at all or just rarely? :)

I use WeatherBug (http://www.weatherbug.com) - the free version. I love it! :) It has lots of features, I feel that has more than Weather Channel desktop. :) WeatherBug's storm central (about hurricanes) is free where in Weather Channel Desktop, you have to sign up for it....that's another thing I like about WeatherBug. :)
The only thing is -- if you want to upgrade to WeatherBug Plus (the paid version) and you don't have a credit card, you are out of luck. You have to pay by credit card to get the WeatherBug Plus premium version.

I just learn by looking outside the window and finding out what the weather is today. :mrgreen:
 
On local TV news. Sometimes I look out to find out too when I wake up in the morning.

Ditto! There are many "microclimates" here in Utah, especially in the mountain ranges. It might be a beautiful, hot sunny day in the valley, but up in the mountains, it could be 60 degrees, windy and thunderstorms.

Sometimes I check weather.com for radar.
 
I rely on Weatherbug most of the time. It was installed on my desktop when I bought my computer, and so I never had the heart to take it off. It tells me what I would not care to look up, which is good. Its very convenient to know what the temperature is. One thing I do hate about it is when an alert comes up, it can be very loud an obnoxious, and once I click on it to turn it off, it takes forever to get rid of, but this can be easily solved by turning down my computer's speakers.
 
:thumb: I always check the nightly weather report, and the 5 day forecast. I also check the newspaper every morning, because it has the 5 day forecast. But, this weatherbug sounds very interesting, I am going to check it out.
 
I usually watch the news to find out about the weather like I always do
 
I use the alert feature on my Sidekick II. It's free and I have it set up to alert me at 9 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, and 6 pm. If I have to know right now, I've got a mobile weather report through Yahoo... bookmarked on my internet browser on my Sidekick II. I simply press jump+b, menu, enter, scroll down a couple times, enter. Ta-da! I get the weather report within seconds for the Rochester area. :thumb:
 
I tend to check my weather on weather channel on TV, AWS weather with live stats with high and low and current data and check weather on my widget on my desktop.
 
I do not trust any kind of software for weatherbug or else... what reason: virus and spyware, and malcauis(sp) for-r-r-get it..

I'd rather stick w/keep eye on internet for update and also t.v. weather news... that pure simple o'lie plain!

Yeah, WeatherBug tends to be a problem cuz of spyware. My friends had WeatherBug on their computer and their computer began to slow down and lag really bad.
