Like most here indicated or pointed out, it's usually when it's wobbling or vibrating that is a telltale sign that a tire is flat, also, if (especially in the front) the steering pulls to one side, that's another indicator as well that a tire's flat.

but years ago, when the whole family including me was in my father's car going on a day's drive, with my brother at the wheels who was just learning to drive. As we were going along the highway, my brother said that the steering wheel was pulling to the one side hard & he could barely managed to hold the wheel so Dad said to pull over ... sure enough, a flat tire.
