Really???? I alway dreamt of owning an underwater house. I had drew my house plans to live underwater below the lake and made a tunnel to land for enter/exit. I drew this plan when I was in High School.

Wrong. The article specifically says that you will get 8 weeks of training.

There will not be "people hired to take care of all the passengers" because of weight issues. Only 6 "guests" are going up -- who are those 6 people? There can't be a million other people going -- there has to be at least 2 pilots, and because scientific experiments will be performed, science specialists.

Then what do you do about food, or "needs" up in space? If you can afford 4 million for a 3 night trip, most likely you're also used to someone waiting on you hand and foot day and night. This trip will certainly get you on your own -- you may even have to prepare your own food! Astronaut ice cream! Yum! ;-)
 
Better yet, Why dont they start building homes and hotels undersea instead? Take a submarine ride to an hotel in the middle of atlantic ocean and stay there for 3 nights and look at your window as fish swim. :)

Really? Darn, I am not big fan of Popular Science, I have missed these volumes of this magazine. Oh well!
By the way, I couldn't imagine about they would be built a hotel or house in underwater.
I had thinking about future would have built in underwater, I thought it would be impossible to build it inside the underwater. :cool:
 
I doubt that will happen either. IT's called visionary, dude. The people who created that: good luck smoking some weed and keep on dreaming! The fact there are 8 million in the world are millioniares, so maybe a fraction of them will go there. I don't think there's enough demand for that.
 
we will die when hotel in space become cheap than ever without train required.
 
ummm 2012... my friends are from army and just returned home from iraq... they said we will be nuke out at 2012 so new plan is to run hotel in space... make sense....
 
Ill tell you one thing.If any citizen going up in space you better be in pretty good shape.Cause if youre not trained right your body will not funtion too well in weightless evoinment.You might get sick up in space.Cause Astronauts do throw up too at times.
 
there is already an underwater restaurant.. somewhere in Indian ocean.. i cant recall the name? i forgot... hmm..

anyway back on the topic about space travel... it would be cool to go up there.. but 4 million dollars for 3 days stay? forget it.. too expensive for me anyway... but i can only dream.... :D
 
Hotel in Space???... I think of today and tomorrow. I don´t care about Future. It couldn´t promise to us about Future. what will that coming?
 
it would make most worthy for rich couple to have sex in hotel as honeymoon.

there is a hotel underwater near the keywest florida.. and they're awesome.. i wanna go there someday!
