Looks like the first car pulled the locomotive off the track. The train driver was probably going too fast at the curve but don't know why the ATCS didn't force the train to slow down if the driver isn't responding.
"El Pais cited sources close to the investigation saying the driver stated immediately after the crash that he had been traveling at 118 mph on the curve, which had a speed limit of 49 mph."

Uh oh....the driver is in trouble for sure!
driver been arrested involantry homiside he been taken somewhere else and under strick observation..he says he fasting he dont want to live..It seems train drivers do speed on that bit of trak.His family in hiding at the moment..

His head will roll...he picked up speed because he was behind time...he never should have been going that fast coming to a turn. I think he knew it too as he was being taken to the hospital. What a stupid thing to do...he of all people should have known the incrediable danger he was putting the passengers in at that speed.....
