Hi I am Deaf and my name is Heath Austin .... I found this website and thought it was cool. I want to share with you a website that I built from stratch for Deaf people like ourselves to learn about self defense and I want you to know I do not approve of illegal activity because this website is about self defense for Deaf people like ourselves and it does include military hand to hand combat manuals for self defense which ASL and hand to hand combat go together really good. I emphasize safety is # 1. Please enjoy the website I have built on the subject of self defense for Deaf people like ourselves.

Very interesting website, Heath. But it is not for me as I have never touched a gun nor do I plan on ever touching a gun.

Hi Meg ... that is fine ... you can learn hand to hand combat and no guns are required..... let me post the military manual on hand to hand combat. You will be able to defend yourself with your own two bare hands. This is both for men and women.

This another manual is on physical fitness and will show you how to get physically fit... they have different ways of getting you in shape. This is not your high school physical fitness or football or soccer physical fitness manual. This is made to help you survive in self defense.

I hope this helps you and you will be an Army trained Deaf person capable of stopping violent criminals or in the event of a terrorist attack and red alert US Homeland Security situation you will be able to stop the terrorists with your bare hands and physical fitness with fast movements, light on your feet and swift hands.
