I'm a hearing novelist living in rural Michigan. I've just started learning fingerspelling and some basic ASL online and am looking into taking classes if money allows. I'm doing research for a novel involving a deaf character living in a small town and am joining in the hopes of familiarizing myself as much as possible with Deaf culture.
