Here is My first Deaf Blog..

LOL So cool! Did you just wake up in the video? Ha.

I'm starting to see more and more vlogs these days. Thanks for sharing with us your first blog, FelixKat! Just a suggestion, though, try backing away from the camera a little bit so we can see your signing more clear.

Ha yeah.. thanks for the suggestion! :) Well, Banjo inspired me to do my first deaf blog.. It's more easier to do that than on a journal. :giggle:

I was going to suggest the same thing Alex did. It's a little hard to see some of your signs. But then, again I'm far from fluent in ASL and many signs I still don't understand.

Hi Felixkat, This is nice of your very first vblog and you brought up some good points and good concerns. God Bless !!!!!

It was pretty hard to read your signs because sometimes your signs are out of sight, When I viewed Banjo's he signed clearly and understanding because he's signs aren't out of sight. Hope next time you'll have yourself back away from the camera, so that we can see all your signs instead of catching part of it. ;) Good video throu.

I bet you really loved closer camera by the way
Suggestion...
Need bit further distance away from camera..
Barely Hard to see your sign.

This site isn't blogger. Why don't you ask Banjo and where find good site as vloger instead tube.com

That is my recommend you.

Cool, I can't do that cause I'm too darn shy and my signs will mess up for sure :giggle: ....

but I agree with the others here, I hardly see all of your signs, but I know you're talking about CI :)

Hey girl...great blog! You need to move back and can see your sign better...some had cut off and hard for me to catch but I can lip read ya! hee! :giggle:

Keep it up!

GalaxyAngel is right, I'm not a big fan of YouTube due to how they handle video files after being uploaded. Too heavily compressed for my taste which is why I prefer Google Video.

Not only that, Google Video also support subtitles. You don't have to make your own subtitles, but I do encourage for these with a big audience to take the suggestion under consideration. For these who want to make subtitles, just google "Subtitle Workshop" up and you'll come across it. It's a freeware and very useful.

Anyway, not a bad start you got there. Like the others here said, try to back away from the webcam so that your hands won't go out of sight. Another little suggestion, rehearses a bit of what you plan on saying, just try to sign out a few lines to make sure you know what you're going to talk about before recording yourself. That way, you won't appear to be hesitating at some points.

Overall, I think you did good on the first try and you'll get better as you go along with it. :)

I am hard of hearing and don't know how to sign . So I need subtitles !
So I couldn't understand it.I often need subtitles even when watching 'normal' videos.

Anyway, you did great effort. Congrats :)

thats too bad that you dont know how to sign, highlands.. :( i guess u need me to teach you sign language as i do know it.. ha.. ;)

Awesome, You are doing great with ASL. :)

You did good job but i cannot see your full sign language because too small. I missed what you say. I can see Bango's sign so clear because he dont make them small.
