are you afraid of heights ?

i am not afraid of heights. i m excited when i go higher as i can. it is fun to view at the bottoms from top of the tall buildings or the summits of the rocks.

nah I am not afraid of heights...but need security like gates etc.

not like you do rock climbing. yikes.

I dont like heights much, I even have trouble stepping on a small stool to get to the higher shelves!!!

I am afraid of heights. Cant stand them at all. As in climbing trees or rocks. Can handle going on rollercoasters or airplanes. I know for sure hot air balloon I cant.

I'm not really afraid of heights, I can manage it pretty good. It's exciting to go real high in the mountains and get a really nice view of the valley and such. ;)

I love to go hiking, and at first I was scared of heights. But the more and more I became exposured to height and extreme elevation differences, I became accustomed to it. I still stiff up a bit on the summit of a mountain, thinking I would fall, but I try to relax as much as I can. Recently, I drove on a 4x4 jeep up Schafer Trail in Canyonlands Ntl Park and it was a serie of switchbacks with an elevation gain of about 1000 feet. In the past I would have been scared to drive there, but now, it was a lot of fun driving. Same goes for the Moki Dugaway Road in Southern Utah, which is also a serie of switchbacks with a loss of 1100 feet facing the vast Four Corners region off Colorado Plateau. I am dying to go hiking again, and was to Grand Canyon recently. Now I am trying to convince my bf to join me to hike the Bright Angel Trail there at G.C. LOL...

Acutally, I dont fear of heights but if I can stand up in top of the mountain, maybe i do fear for that.

Fear of heights is kind of strange. I used to be afraid of heights but could still deal with it. When I first started flying for traffic, I was nervous as hell but just held on and went for the ride. Whats really strange now though is when I fly, I'm fine but if we fly over a large gravel pit, I get that weird feeling in the back of my knees. I've never been able to explain why I can be fine at 1500 feet, but flying over a large hole makes me nervous.

I am fine on mountains, roller coasters.. If I am at highest level like sears tower with no gate. just air. I would definetly freak out. :Ohno:

Must have seat belt, or hardness or a thing like elavator to keep me on ground. airplanes is ok for me.

I don't like heights. I recently got used to flying, but when I'm in the plane, I prefer an aisle seat as opposed to a window, because, I don't like knowing just how far up in the air I really am. It gives me the willies. BIG TIME!

I am not afraid of heights, just ladders. I had one slip on me once, and ever since then, I hate them.

I'm not fond of heights, but I generally do ok. I do better when there is something for me to hold on to, like a tree branch or a railing. (and not looking down helps, too! lol)

scary heights Yes.. I admit..

espically werid am I not afraid of roller coaster... *strange* phobia?

LOL Miss P. Where did you get that notion from? You're not watching too much TV, are you? ;)

I don't like heights. I am afraid of height. If I look down from high height then I might get dizzy. no thanks!

Climb up without look down is ok but not climb down... :Ohno:

Walk up to hill and sit on the bench to have beautiful view is ok.

Climb up with ladder to attic but I had the problem to climb down :Ohno:

I got scary feeling when we are on wood bridge with over thousands feet... It got me goose pimple when I look down.
