Have anyone been to Texas?

If you want to go to south padre island during spring or summer break here advice RESERVE the hotel room EARLY. The hotel rooms get FULL by the time breaks get here believe me! it popular down there during those breaks.

San Antiono and Austin is probably best for tours. Dallas is allright but not lot of tours to see. .

Illustrator- Thank you for clear up about SWCID. Right, Galveston water is not good but SPI does! I know lot of people LOVE South Padre Island, that is why. :D

Yes, I have been to Texas since I was a baby! Usually to Houston and Killen.

Houston and Harris County, Texas are definitely worth your times to visit! Dallas is a pretty place to visit, but I like Houston best of all! :)
 
No I have never been to Texas... Wish Somedays I would.
 
Yes i been to Texas last 93 with my deaf church and young group too for vacation, i been touch houston then change to fly to Austin i love this place! also already go to San Antion(sp) for six flag fiease and there lots HISTORY too and lots $$$ for resturant i was like :eek2:! but i really miss this place dang i want go BACK there again one day who knows

Can you tell me about Lubbock, TX because I am going to be down there for a week.. what the weather like there in March? What I and my friends can do? Any nearest tourist attraction? What is the enivorment like down there in Lubbock? Anything to tell me about Lubbock?

I can't say anything about Lubbock, but I can say that Houston is HOT!

Lubbock is the larger city in north of Texas. In March, you're luck, there is no dust bowl which there is sort of sand wind - dirty. Beautiful weather for March. It could be good place to visit at Tech Texas University the campus. It's quite nice place - very larger campus, indeed. There is Lubbock Lake Landmark State Historical Park. I loved it. People are half of redneck. Cowboy stuff - interest mexican resturant, they are excellent food.
 
I should visit Texas...more of Armadillo because I have a cousin and an uncle who both live there. One of these days, I reckon.
 
If any of you are ever in Texas in the future, be sure to look me up! I'm from Dallas, Texas... but I am currently in Rochester, New York, for college.
