Has any one noticed it is a beautiful day out ???

not so nice in Seattle, been raining for 25 days and there's major flooding and lakes starting to flood, too! It's 2nd most longest rainiest streak since 1953 which had 33 days straight! About 11.85 inches of rain fell in 25 days, yikes! By the way, I'm in California catching the warm sun and clear skies. ;) I'm visiting my parents, also.

Hi Eternity , don't worry there will be more good warm days ahead. Springtime is just right around the corner !!!! Be happy for that !!!!:)

Winter isn't even one-third the way through yet! :eek2: Spring doesn't come until the third week in March, so, it's not "just around the corner," Heath. Besides, I love winter!!

No more nice and beautiful outside, This early morning we had a huge snow storm that knocked the city power, We were without lights and heating for 9 hours and it was so cold in here. :eek2: I'm glad it all got turned back on in the afternoon. :ty:

Yes, I was on line with Diehardbiker, chatting with him in yahoo, all sudden all the power went off, I had to search for candle in the dark, kept on bumping into walls., It was so hard to keep each others warm because the wind outside was so strong that you could feel the cold breeze in your own home, I guess my windows sucks here. But, in the meantime we all had Rudolph nose.

Ha ha on comment about Rudolph nose. :)

I bet it's so dark and hard to see...I'll have to find right spot to find candles and flashlight for back up. We got black out few years ago for maybe 10 hours. I think you remember that as well....Thank god it wasn't winter!!!

Hey, I am sure you aware that my home state near your home is about 950 feet above sea level. Unlike New Orlean because it is below 20 feet sea level. So, we should be safe for a little while, but we will not be around that longer. We ll be gone before the water will cover our land.

Here it is sunny and clear, about 70 degrees, with the daffodils popping up and cherry trees blooming pink flowers. Beautiful!

It's been super warm here, not like winter at all. I actually told my daughter to put on shorts or she would roast! But I do miss the cold. In Germany, there was lots of snow every winter and I loved it! Living in Texas, the hot weather can get a bit old.
