I wanna know...

who have a perfect family?

Did you mother cooked you cookies everyday after school?
Did your parents never argue over silly small things?

Did your dad cut grasses every weekend?

Did you ever make lemonade and sell them in neighborhood?

Did your family sit around table every morning and every evening,
quiet no tv blasting, saying grace?

the perfect family is about how much love is in the family. not who cuts the grass.
i have a broken family. but we all love eachother.

Wally and the Beav did....LOL J/K

(for those of you who don't know, Wally and Beaver are from the 1950s TV show "Leave It to Beaver" -- the 1950s portrayed families like what Miss P had described.)

The "perfect family" doesn't exist. Every family has it's issues, and it's really hard to strive for perfection. One could drive themselves nuts trying to perfect.

Not perfect. But I wouldn't trade them for anyone else.

My parents separated when I was about 10 years old, and divorced when I was 12.

lol there's no such thing as an perfect family...

my parents were divorced when I was in 3rd grade and my dad has beaten my brother and me several times, threatened us, lied to us, etc...even threatened and hurt my mom at times too so most people on my mom's side are much nicer and know better than dad and my dad's side...but still, nobody's perfect...there will always be conflicts and problems in every family when it comes to money, drugs, sex, lies, school, friends, etc...just part of everyday's life's problems.

yeah cause I went to a thanksgiving dinner to a family house...
and they invited anybody... everyone was welcome...

Mary, her ex husband and his wife and child, Mary's 5 children, and
many grand children, and great grand children, and her
son in laws and ex son in laws, and daughter in laws and
ex daughter in laws, cousins and even her son's ex drug addicted girlfriend,
her sister in laws and ex sister in laws, nieces and nephews and everybody...

And of course there was one small issue, 60 years old Essie couldn't
get along with her young sister. But everything else is cool.

Not all family has to be perfect, the important thing is love in the family.
We all got each other.

everybody has different point of view about what a "perfect family" looks like. so that is not a good poll for us to asnwer cuz we all have different point of veiw. In my opinion there is no such thing as a perfect family. Just love.

my marriage sometimes down and up, live "black and white", but we still love each other any way

My family is dysfunctional. My parents divorced when I was 8 years old. My mother married 4 times, My dad married 5 times.. Can you tell me how perfect that is??????????????????????????????

I've been married once.. and don't want to go thru that again.. So, I'll be damn sure that I know my man is the one and he'll be my last! (i hope)

 after 2 times divorced I'd probably not to re marry let's just stay together longer instead of wasting money for wedding and divorcing :)

I wanna know...

Here´s my answer

who have a perfect family?

I wish to tell you that my family are wonderful and prefect... I´m afraid no...
My mother is an aloholic and my father was a gambler (quit before he met his 2nd wife in 1980).

My mother had been married 3 times. All of her husbands are domestic abusers.

Did you mother cooked you cookies everyday after school?

No, my mother never do homemade cookies, etc. All what I remember she was a wonderful mother and take care of me & my siblings - make sure we eat well and of course made alot of homemade salads most, etc. before she began to drinking when I was teenager.

Did your parents never argue over silly small things?
Well, my mother was beaten by her 3 husbands over silly things...

Did your dad cut grasses every weekend?
No, my father is not green person.

Did your family sit around table every morning and every evening,
quiet no tv blasting, saying grace?

I grow up with my parents alway have TV on when we together sit on the table for our meals because my father wants it.

During my mother´s 2nd husband, no TV during meal times.

Wonderful isn´t it? :)

My family is not perfect but we do love each other and that is important to me. But Darn my ex uncle's wife *my late uncle* screwed up my family and made my family falling apart but my cousin made sure we dont fall apart.

Confusing about my late uncle and ex uncle. OK my late uncle and my aunt are brother and sister. Now my ex uncle is my aunt exh. So my late uncle's wife and ex uncle had an affair before my late uncle death. Of course my late uncle didnt know about it but after his death, my family started to find out and was so pissed at her for screwed up my family. She was hurting my family but doing this. Also she forced my grandma to change the wills. Sigh so she got what she want. What a shame!!. But the house is still in the family cuz my cousin brought it and she will buy my mom's property soon. So there u have it.

Thinking there is real Brandy Bunch? Get real! The reality is much like "Married...with children"!

My family ain't perfect BUT, I have my own family, and STILL not married! We all have ups and down! But we ain't Brandy Bunch!

Of course, perfection is an impossibility but the concept is there as something to strive for. Some of us get closer than others....

I agree with most of the members here in this thread, it is impossibe to have a perfect family, and I don't believe anyone ever had a perfect family either and like Reba said, I wouldn't trade for another family....

I have my up and down with my family but still I would like to think we're close even we may not see things alike or agree on alot of things, but I still love them and they're my family! :applause:

I forget to answer about my own family since I notice some of posts here about their own family. I thought that I should answer about my parents since you question in your thread.

Yes, it´s very true that it´s impossible to picture my family as "prefect family asl Brandy Bunch family".
I tried my best what I can to keep my family together tight what I can and there are alway ups and downs which it´s normal. All what I am happy and satasify what I have in my family life.
