Who is your greatest American Heroes? It could be Actors, Actresses, Athletes, Musicians, Presidents nor Scientists or others.


It would be interesting to see everyone's favorite all-time American Heroes, Once you have mention your listing please explain why this person is your hero. ;)


Please no bashing onto anyone's opinions here, Respect their listing. *Thank-you for your corporate*
 
My American favorite heroes are:


Musician: Faith Hill, because of her talent, Her songs are so emotion or a passion of feeling. She tells people what's in her heart by singing her song. She is one of my all-time favorite for just who she is in and out.

Presidents: John F. Kennedy, I have done a report on him back in high school my favorite line of his wordings were "Americans would pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend" He also won my respect as the leader of the free world. He's my hero even through I wasn't born around the time he was the President and the time he passed away.

President: Ronald Reagan, Even through he was a Republican President, he was one of the gifted speaker, He was so honest and He been on movies too. I always admire him based on the type of guy he was and He would always be remembered.

The Heroes of 9/11/01: I owe my life to those who have tried to save those Innocent people on Sept. 11th. Those Firemen, Police officers and even rescue workers. Those who died and helped are remembered and respected, their bravery, kindness, unselfishness, and love for others. They're my heroes.

Would add more later. ;)
 
My favorite Hero were Helen Keller and U.S. 16th president Abraham Lincoln, he freed the slavery.
 
Umm...Can I say Jesus?..

I would say fire and police departments are my hero since they risk their lives everyday by saving many people....

Of Course you can say Jesus as your hero if you would like, As I mention in my begin of the thread

As you noticed "Others" can mean anyone. ;)
 
The greatest American heros were the firemen and policemen who risked saving thousands of people from 9/11.
 
the greatest heros of all time for me is those who died for thier country in all of the wars not just iraq, i lost my families there too back then and up til now, thier the ones who freed our country and walked the line for us, so like toby keith said
thier the american soldiers,
our brothers and sisters
who walked the line
for the old glory

the next person i would say is garth brooks
reason why???

hes the inspriation to us all that really goes out and takes risk. he did more things than any other musicains combine would have done.

lastly my grandparents who sat on the front steps and shared life with me and raised me to where i am today...

umm, my fave uncle who died in 2000., he still around me and when i went bed, he touched on my back or whatever.. he just let me know that he still around here and i am safety.. my fave uncle..


my fave is Helen Keller too.. i wish i meet her long time ago but dang... i still think of her.. she was very brave girl!
 
Number One American Hero: My mother. Of course. No need to say any more than that, she is just a big hero to me. Without her, I will become a red-necked and maniac like my father.


Number Two American Hero: My grandmother (my mother's side). Without her, my mother wouldn't be the kind of person she is.


Next Greatest American Hero: Franklin D. Roosevelt

Why? The New Deal. Without New Deal, our children will be working in factories. Without New Deal, there will be no environment protection, in other words, we will breath the asbestos and toxic chemicals on a daily basis in our jobs and houses. Without New Deal, our paycheck will be the biggest joke because of no minimum wages and it is more likely that we will be unable to have the roof over our heads or foods on our tables if not for New Deal. Or maximum normal hours (40 hours). The New Deal irked many Americanized conservatives because of several reasons... Of course, the New Deal has its own cons but it rescued our grandparents/parents from the Great Depression era. If anyone doubt my comments: go and educate yourself: Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the New Deal.


American Heroes: Good policemen, firemen, doctors, etc
