i would like to share my opinion.....
I will strongly disagree and point out that by having people with strong religious convictions in the White House and in positions of leadership, it brings a moral fiber based on Judeo Christian values etc, but there is something so dangerous about that reason why GOD and Government do not mix, why the founding father knew what they were doing when separated church and the state. Bush said to James Robinson: "I feel like God wants me to run for President. I can't explain it, but I sense my country is going to need me. Something is going to happen... I know it won't be easy on me or my family, but God wants me to do it." Do you see the problem here? If the President believes that God is giving him instructions concerning what to do, and he reads the Book of Revelation concerning prophecies of a nuclear struggle to hasten the return of Jesus Christ, then all of us will be caught up in conflict based not on political ideology, territorial claim, or even direct attack. I will be caught up in conflict based on religious beliefs, Biblical interpretation, and the inner feelings of people who believe that God is speaking directly to them. Weapons of mass destruction, allegiances with Al Queda, connections to 911 all become pretenses to cover the real reason for the crusade to come. God privately told our leaders. I have that problem with our president. Sadly, the military were using their newfound faith as a weapon. I am learning that fanatics in the religious world are truly not as faithful as they pretend to be. God moves in Mysterious ways, but not as mysterious as his mortal believers. "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."
-- George W. Bush President can send your kids to battle were shown by inspired of GOD. I asked myself the question. Do I want my sons and daughter to give their lives for that man religious vision? No way. It is a good thing if you choose to believe in this God. If you choose to believe that George W. Bush is a man of God. This is a nightmare
