Got to Wondering...Canada v.s. USA

I got to wondering...how does services for the deaf compare to the USA in Canada? Are they better, the same or worse?

I'd like to hear your opinion, comments, facts and links... please no bashing either country or flaming Canadians and Americans, especially those on AD.

No Difference..

My guess is.. Still same usa/Canada

but...

usa have ADA
canada don't have ADA.. unfortunally very weak teeth!

So far I've heard that you can call to Canada from USA or from Canada to USA but not from Canada to Canada -- strange!
 
Is that right? GalaxyAngel about ADA Laws? Canada don't have that? What do they have beside ADA?
 
Oh yea Canada dont get any free equipment like USA do. That sad. I am hoping one day they will be the same as we are. Come Canada go for it. I am cheering up for Canada. :applause:
 
I've never heard anyone talk about services for the deaf in Canada so I can't really say. :dunno:

Yup... Extactly..

There's invidual provinces have..
likely we have here... OAD = Ontario Association Deaf.. quite frankly weak teeth and have no power effort to Gov't about Deaf Rights needs their meets...
BUT BUT.... An interpreter are quite stronger because Deaf Rights section of Ontario law.. Which it's good thing.. but rest of others NOPE!!!

Likely issues jobs.. mak'n an excuse..
you have to contact Human Rights that's all, They can do..

In Canada is COOL and have provide Health Cards coverage your heath everything... :) coming from your company work already paid for... whoever live in Canada.

Isn't same as USA system.. you have to pay Health Insurance and you have to pay back health insurance.. THAT SUCKS!

yes... LinuxGold.. sort of related VRS.. yes actually it's sprint company refused allow who coming from canadians want use VRS under sprint.. Shut you off quicker.. Whoa.. Not very nice! I did twice times shut it off from Sprint company.. I'll keep stubborn contact to Spring company in Canada again and let them know.. that Sprint Company usa are rude remarks! I ain't give up!
 
Here in Canada have a nice to place to live becuase it is peace country but service for Deaf is worst than USA.

USA does have ADA. We, Canada don't have any protect for Deaf right 100% like to have job, free and etc. It is very poor support for us.
