The meaning of the Hebrew word that is translated as homosexual is actually something more like temple prosituite....and I mean I know Paul spoke out about that.....but the thing is.....he was speaking out about something completly different.....namely sexual abuse of boys. In ancient Greece, the society was so misogyentic that women weren't even thought good enough to have sexual relations with....Older men sexually abused young boys (and it was thought good and normal and all that) ....that is what Paul was speaking out about.......
I know I will never convince the antis on this thread otherwise, but.....ALL sects of Christianity believe something different.....Seventh Day Adventists believe that God intended us to be vegitarians and to observe the Sabbath on Sat instead of Sunday....Baptists believe that dancing is of the devil, I could go on and on.....there's just so many different interpretations of the Bible..... There are even churches that use the Bible to justify racism and hatred.....ever hear of the Ku Klux Klan or Christian Idenity? that's why there are so many different churches....if there was just ONE way to interpret the Bible, then there would only be ONE church out there.....Hey there are EVEN churches that believe that homosexality is OK....Church of Christ for one.....I bet you anything in a generation even the Deep Thicket South type Christians will stop screaming that homosexuality is evil......

Seriously.......NOBODY has given me an answer as to why my feelings for my Maureen or my McInnis or my Jocelyn are wrong. God is love....love is God.....If I could make those feelings go away, I would....I have struggled for ten years with the realization that I love women. I'd give ANYTHING to be a straight person....especially seeing as I am already extremely different. I got shit on in childhood b/c I am different (due to my hearing loss and other disabilties) Why would I knowingly willingly fall in love with someone? If I could turn off that desire....I WOULD IN AN INSTANT!

Lutherans well you have to be more carefully with the word of the "Lutherans" only because the Lutherans really against with Homosexual people. BUT!! The "Liberalist Lutherans" do support Homosexual and that is huge different between two groups. Recently that the Lutherans already split into two group of Lutherans. One is Lutherans and other is Liberalist Lutheran. I amuse that you learned it from on the news media because of the split over the favor with the homosexual.

I don't think I am able to call Episcopalians as Christian. I need more study on that religion group.

Catholics I hardly believe that they do support homosexuality unless they are liberalist or a pragmatist Catholics.

Conclusion: Every religion groups has their own scale with the very conservative to liberalist or to the pragmatist level. If you want to hear the absolute truth from the Bible and the Calvinist people are best to ask. The Calvinist people believe to use Bible only to define God and everything with the religious world. For example the Bible said put your faith with Jesus Christ only and not with any works. But the Catholics believes if you do the good works and it will forgives your sins and that is huge different between two groups.

Deeper Conclusion: God despites Sin, therefore God despites homosexual. Therefore the religion groups that favors with homosexual world is not part of the Lord’s family.

OK I am explaining little more expanded version with his love and despite our sin at same time.

Suppose your brother was involving with the high-level of gang that is involved with dangerous drugs, guns, crimes, etc. But you do really love your brother but you hate him to be a member of gang.

It is same thing with God on our sin. He hate us to be a member of the sinful world. He want us to remove from the sinful world for our soul's safety.

If you are saying that God love all no matter what. With that view with my example and you are likely to encourage your brother to keep going on with his gang. Therefore it do not make any sense.

I don't miss your point. I do fully understand what you were talkin' about. God knows everythin'. He knows every race's language and fully understood them. It's why the bible was written by His Chosen people through the Holy Spirit. God is not the Author of Confusion. He knows our language. The bible itself is in 5th grade level. I speak of KJV.

It is very obviously that you don't want to follow the Bible excatly. You just want to follow part of the Bible with your feeling with the society itself. Am I right?

Yes Gay and Christian is called hyprocited Christian. To be Christian and you are required to quit your daily sinful life to act as a holy person as much as you can. It is not like that, I am gay and God said Gay is sin but I know I am gay but just forget that part for while. God will judge you for your soul's sake.
