Girl, 13, gets detention for hugging two friends

That is ridiculous. No wonder students are mess up cuz there is not enough love or care to go around in this world. People need to show tender caring hugs toward to friends..

This is just upright ridiculous. I hugged my friends in school all the time, and yet I haven't got suspended for it, nobody is gonna tell me who I can't hug. I think this is going a bit too far. Schools are being paranoid.
 
Oh geez! that so lame. same with my old school always get serious over little thing for no reason..

One time, My good friend and he was like my little brother to me since i am only child and i know him for long time. and we just hugs as happy to see each other again. and teacher saw that we hugs. and come to us and said no u can't hug and it not allow and we was like huh we just hugs as good friend do.
geez then the teacher told the pincial(sp?) and they give us a warn and not do that again.. i was like why? and they said not right and it can lead to Displays of affection.. geez. they are stupid.

I'd start hugging everybody in that school now. Woohoo detention baby! :dance2: Maybe then I get expelled, then sue district and then go to district who actually believes hugging might be therapeutic and condusive to positive friendships.!!!!
 
Depend on the situation, if that girl who got big breast, and she is kinda slut. She do allow many guys to hug her, because she likes to feel her breasts hitting to somebody's chest. I've seen a girl at my school who LOVES to give a hug to friends. Later I realized that this is not proper hug by observing her. She say "lets hug!" to someone she barely talk to. What's that? I asked her, why do you like to hug too often? She was like Can't I? I like to hug. This is something not right, and school is definitely need to do something about this.
 
They made the policy to keep people from discrediting the school and it ends up doing that to the school in the eyes of the entire world. This makes me dream of becoming rich enough to hire lawyers to find loopholes in laws to permit me to buy the building and land from under them so I can get to make the rules.
 
When I was a kid I remember a bunch of girls got together and had "Pants Fridays". They all wore pants to school and all got suspended so they could start an early weekend together.

The principal talked as though the entire school system in America would founder if such immoral activity weren't stopped immediately.

Maybe kids should have a "Hug Friday".
 
Oh wow..that is definitely going way too far. What's up with all this paranoia? Too many lawsuits happening?

What happened if football team won? they cant hug each other happily? if they hug everyone.. will ALL OF them get detention? i wonder? jeez...

It almost happened to me at early years 2000s.. I hugged my friends, teachers and beautiful girl interpreter and I have had no problems with my school! My school was excellent!
What a lucky for me! What a joke for them are others getting detention for
hugging. Anyways, what a stupid heartless rule for their families!
