So you take it upon yourself to brief newbie ADers about me? Maybe I should do the same thing about you?
Nah. I have better things to do with my time.
I don't hate Germans. In high school, I took a year of German language study, and I did a research paper on the early German film industry, and another on Claus Graf von Stauffenberg. I have copies of silent German films that I love to watch. Hubby's been to Germany, and we would love to visit there together. We have friends in Germany. We were thrilled for Germany when the Berlin Wall came down. I admire German craftmanship and engineering. Some of my favorite cars that I've owned were German cars (VW bug, Porsche 914, Opel Kadett).
But that doesn't mean I have to applaud everything they do. I don't support socialistic forms of government. I don't appreciate being told that Americans should do this and that the German way because it's more enlightened. I don't support lenient sentences for murderers. I don't appreciate thread after thread of anti-American topics. That doesn't mean I "hate" Germans.
Whatever Germans want to do in Germany is their business only unless it effects Americans. Setting free people who have killed Americans, and who might plot against them again, is my concern.
For some reason this thread lose my interest.. Maybe this thread just brought up to mock the Germans..
Yes I notice it. All what I want to say is their loss and ignorant. They should ashamed themselves that many Germans want to keep American-German retainship remains. All what I see here is anti-Germans.
No different then a certain German individual who mocks Americans with anti-American sentiments.
It's fair play.
I remember I asked my grandma who was the baby daughter when she was in Germany during WWII, how she felt about living in America not so long ago from the WWII period? She answered me, "I was always been teased by the kids when I was kid, just because I was Nazi German, and one boy of them told me that he hate me because his dad's leg was chopped off by Nazis. I told him that I'd rather to have my dad's leg chopped off instead of being dead".

for share your positive post. Yes, I remember your postive posts about Claus Graf von Stuaffenberg in several threads.
But that doesn't mean I have to applaud everything they do.
No, you don´t have to when you disagree with them like what I did here.
I don't support socialistic forms of government.
Yes I know your posts and respect you for that when I see different view as you.
I don't appreciate being told that Americans should do this and that the German way because it's more enlightened.
Nobody tell you what to do but offer their view and suggestion... and share different cultures. Some Americans like Europe way accord healthcare issues. I´m sure that you know that.
I don't support lenient sentences for murderers.
I don´t support death penalty. Sure, we disagree our (I mean Germany's and America´s) justice system sometimes for sentence the murderers in different way. I´m sure that you know that.
I don't appreciate thread after thread of anti-American topics. That doesn't mean I "hate" Germans.
It doesn´t mean that I´m anti-American when I disagree with Iraq war, death penalty, politicies systems, difference, etc....
Europeans have been very supportive of against terrorism. They didn't support the Iraq which had nothing to do with terrorism doesn´t make them anti-american. We Europeans are fed up with Bush. That's a very common view throughout Europe. That´s why we hope that Obama wins the election.(see my response post to Byrdie714´s post.)

Americans are only your concern. Oh I see... I assume that you don´t care what and how Germans are being killed/hurt by Americans in Germany. To me, all people from different countries are human being... I treat them equal... if Germans killed Americans then I support Americans or if Americans killed Germans then I also support them, too because murderers are wrong.
noo there's a difference between meanie bash and cryptic bash. I guess we (Reba, Chase, me, etc.) use cryptic languages that can be hard for foreigners to understand which can be easily misunderstood for something else. After all..... American English in many flavors (sarcasm, irony, idioms, etc.) are probably the most difficult language in the world to learn/understand for foreigners.
No it has nothing do with meanie or cryptic bash because we know the difference but it's just a different mentality and culture where we come from. European´s interpret of logical on your post is an ignorant and arrogant. The view of our judgement and opinion are different.
Example: Military prepare Americans to go to the European countries, to know the cultural differences then they can respect us. That´s why we don´t have problem with Americans...

wow, positive answer.
Funny, he had no idea what he said. He should be glad that his dad is alive and well. By the way, it's not your grandma's fault, obviously, for what happened because she was only a baby when the time of WW2.
Agree, but my grandma was not the only the baby at that time. That boy was just the same as my grandma, a lot of people who are at 60-70's age today had history with the WWII.

No because the Germans kill them.
No, it's just German terrorist killed one US solider to compare with this article ... and tell me how many Germans killed by US soliders/civillian...

German court sentence 18 years old to 8 1/2 years and youngest is 7 years...
3 U.S. Teens Guilty of Murder in Germany - Los Angeles Times
I bet 18 years old US teenager would get death penalty if it happened in USA.

You better focus on them than upset over German terrorist to one US solider.
is suppose to stay life in prison and is getting out. This individual
You complaint about one soldier killed by German terrorist but I do not complaint about German court sentence 18 years old teenager 10 years for murdered GermanS and also US rapists as well.
You bash our court systems as being unfair--this act of German judiciary is ludicrous at its best!
If you mean death penalty... There're several death penalty threads were being created by American creators for years since 2004. Why can't I say something what I view about death penalty when they ask me for my opinion?
Life in Prison in Germany means " you get out in a couple of years."
In America--life in prison means THAT! Life in prison!
Wrong... read the interpretation of Europe what life sentence with or without parole means. The EU's interpretation meaning the same as US life imprisionment with or without parole...
Life imprisonment - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If life imprisionment without parole which mean is they stay in prison till end...
I didn't see any that Liebling mocking against American with the "anti-American sentiments", but discussing with her different POV.
for know my posts.
Willkommen

ah of course! the EU... Germany has always been worst in economy anyway. EU just wants Germany to relies on EU instead of America... which is the point of EU umbrella.
For someone who says she supports American soldiers you sure post a lot of negative things about them.I would suggest you to focus how many US soliders killed Iraqis?
US soldiers murder unarmed civilians in Iraq - Google-Suche

and how many Iraqis killed US soliders?
how many Iraqis killed US soldiers - Google-Suche
How many US soliders raped and killed Iraqis or Iraqis killed US soliders to compare with German terrorist killed one US soldier... All what I see is your concern is ONE soldier because he is an American... and don't care how many US soliders killed Iraqis and Germans...What I see here is an unbeleivable...
Reba, you better keep yourself and use your good judgement and focus them. I would say the same about you as well, Byrdie714.
