Well I can grow some hay, where can I get some seeds?

nope, horse needs at least 1-2 acres, not a tiny yard.

well I just get a jackass.

actually water cost more than oil, it cost $1.29 for a litre of bottled water

well I can use sink water.

Saddles are expensive, unless u're a bargain hunter

well I can use cow leather and blanket.

wait til you pay the horse shoe guy to fix horse shoe

well I can take horseshoe classes to learn how to be a horseshoe guy.

You need to take your horse in every 6 months for vet check ups and all that and it's expensive

Well I can take Vet classes too. Save myself some money by being a vet also.....

It costs average of $2,000 a month to matain a horse alone, and it's not cheap and it's slow

It won't cost much if I just take classes on how to take care a horse myself and all. :P

Most of that will never happen in ur life, u just want to sit on ur ass being home all the time and not movitate. Those are the answers for a average person who takes care of a horse.

sigh... I don't understand why horse needs hay, why can't they just eat carrot and apples, I can just grow apple trees. why they need horseshoes, horses were born without one.
 
and don't forget that the motor of a car oftentimes make power that is equal from 100 to 400 horses!

Imagine if u had a horse-drawn buggy and u wanted to make sure it beats a $1 million buck Bugatti RB16/4 Veyron supercar you would need 1,000 LIVE real horses and the costs of maintaining 1,000 real horses would make the Bugatti look so real damn cheapskate poor. If you lined up all 1,000 horses hitched to your buggy it would extend perhaps 3 miles or so!

So a car is better than a horse when it comes to economic and modern-era technology!
 
Oakley's ma in Chicago area is at 3.19 for regular Gas.. 3.80 can be found in town of Taylorville outside of Springfield... oy vey! I guess we're going to be topped with over 4 dollar
 
Motor can have anywhere from 3hp to 10,000hp!!!

And horses can't travel far! automobile, can go almost infinitely without any breaks! The only breaks that is need is fill'er up! and swapping the drivers. Motor don't care how long it would keep as long as gas is provided.

4 dollars an gallon would BE EXTREME, but not 100% impossible. But so far there is at least 100% increase on gas price, that is the most extreme I ever seen!

And to add that horses only have a top speed of 40-45 mph. Race horses go up to 47-48 mph tops. You can go 80 mph without trying with a car with enough power. :) Most engines in cars at cruising speed at flat highway uses only 15-20 hp at 2,000 to 3,000 rpm.
 
well the horse/mule is less pollution...
How many taxes dollars do government take out to clean
our air and pollution, and even water pollution cause by cars and SUV???

Yesterday, I filled my car up, and it was $2.49 per gallon. This morning when I was coming home from work, I was shocked to see that the price has increased to $2.69 in just one day in the same gas station. A twenty cents increase! Unbelivable!

Yeah think about that. If everybody and their dog all converted from cars to horses, the whole road and street networks would be one HUGE toilet! The town fathers would have to hire a lot of ppl who got balls enough to not mind the smell of the road apples the horses would leave.

The old days before Karl Benz (father of the modern Mercedes-Benz) came up with the novel "horseless carriage" should be left to the past. That invention finally freed the horses from being a beast-of-burden-

and the top-dog race horse can only travel at that 47-48 mph speed, for only lengths ranging from 1 furlong to 2 3/4 miles, before it runs out of energy.
 
Yea, the gas sucks!

:Last wednesday I paid 2.75..

I was driving today and I saw the prices were now 3.56!!!

I live in NY, so it is really high here!

AACK!

so I drove around until I found a place for 3.19, and filled up really fast even though it was only 5 gallons.

I have to drive 70 miles a day for work, so this is not good news for me at all!
 
about an hour ago before I got home recently... I filled up ma's car with her watching the gas gulping her visa... she want to fill her car for 10 bucks but it went at 3 gallon and mom got a bit upset, so told me to go up to 15 dollar, and that's it... Denver, Colorado already went over 3 dollar, few places can be found over 3.20 but I'm not surprise if gas kept going over 3.50 or 4 dollar, at least I'm planning to fix up a bike to ride to work if price keep going up...

Sad,sad,sad, the sad part is that your sitting home all day, no life and no job,WHINE all day, why dont YOU get ur ASS UP, go out to New Orleans help those people. and get a job and donate some money to help these people and stop whining cuz u have No car, and shut your mouth about whining and for ur information life is not PERFECT!!!
