A Texan hunter wants to give computer gamers the chance to kill things for real with the click of a mouse. John Lockwood has already hooked up guns to the internet to let people shoot targets on his Texas ranch.

Now he wants to let fans shoot live game through his website, live-shot.com, reports the New York Post. Mr Lockwood intends to have the remote hunts running early next year with virtual hunters paying up to £40 an hour. They will be be able to use their computer mouse to operate a camera and rifle pointed at a game feeder set up to attract animals.

Hunters would have to pay more if they kill an animal - up to £1,000 for a buck deer, although there is no guarantee they will see any game. "I've gotten hate mail calling me a sick, despicable redneck," said Lockwood. "But the technology for hunters keeps evolving, from bowhunting to high-powered rifles. This is just another step forward, another tactical advantage."

Maybe I can make a proposal to congress to make a law if it is legal for me to hunt these retarded people down for these stupid and inhumane sports. Wait.. it is not even sport. It is beyond sport, it is plainly cruelty.

Morons, that's what they are.

Edit: Pardon my anger, I just found it stupid and cruelty.

I agree it is very cruel, hunting or killing of animals for money is murder, murder, murder. I am a true animal lover, I have never personally killed a creature, and I never will. I have a love of animals and enjoy seeing them in their natural habitat. :)

This sounds like a "Killing Game" for them. :(

I agree it should be banned, it is so wrong!

I totally agree and I do know some people loves hunting as a sport but to me its cruel to murder a innocent animal just for the fun of it, but some hunts for food too, so I dunno but it's still sickness me...

I just find it very strange and weird...plus, it sounds like something a serial killer would do...hook up his guns onto the internet and tie people up and say it's just a game where you shoot people...but you actually killed REAL people on live...you know?

I wouldn't be surprised if shit like that already happens in some states...

some people are just really sick, you know.

I'm against this idea, people are meant to hunt in person, not via the internet because you would be leaving the body to waste. A hunter should be required to either eat or sell the body to people who want to eat it.

Never for the sport.

Banjo: I do not know where you are from. This is just an information -

It's Illegal to sell wildlife meat.

I think this is a kewl idea... except for the animal-hunting part.

Canada, I think it's illegal to sell wildlife meat here too as well. But you can get a hunting license to hunt animals for food which is something you'll never find me doing. It's not my hobby, I guess I just don't like to kill animals.

But really, I would prefer that the hunters eat the animals that they kill instead of leaving it to waste away.
