I know it probably won't matter to you guys but I was
still short by a few credits for highschool. I am finishing them up.
I am pretty excited about it. Hub has been doing physics with me
since lastnight (it's very intereseting :) ) Anyhow, just thought I would share my excitement! My Appt is next Tues. I go speak with the counsellor
and see what courses I am gonna be taken to finish up. (I am hoping I can take grade 11 physics, and chemistry and both again in 12) ..but again we will see. I want to go into nursing so I want to take extra courses. I already have my math, science and all of that.

Good for you! :applause:

Keep it up! :P

There are many drop outs and some had returned back for GED or HS to get dimpolma (sp) You are not only one. WTG! Keep it up! :)

Ah kewl, good luck and keep it up. :)

You can do it!!! I'm doing the same thing at the local university and the teachers in the Adult Basic Education program are FANTASTIC! I wish my high school teachers had been as good as them - they're making everything so easy to understand and I remember struggling in high school.

HS was very hard for me. I had a very difficult time hearing them, plus I had no support either so that really didn't work. Anyhow, yea I am going today to pick up my transcripts. I am very excited. I am more of an independant learner anyways.

Yay for me! :dance2:

Heart2Sign,

Not everyone who knows you will share in your enthusiasm, which means that when you find that out, you're going to lose friends because they'll see that they can't put you down anymore and wipe their feet on you. I presume this is already happening, so you're going to need to watch for who are your cheerleaders and who your downers are and get rid of them . . . "friends" like those, who needs enemies, right?

Aim for the sky, dear, you will get it! Learn more math, too. Best wishes! :thumb: As Robert Schuller says, "If it's gonna be, it's up to me!"

Thanks Pek...
I am already being aware of that...
I haven't told anyone that I felt would drag me down
or discourage me. Only a few family members know, and
ofcourse my AD family!

 I am aiming for the sky! Trust me..
