Since Jay Leno's final talk show last night, and Conan takes over the "Tonight Show" host. Which night talk show host that you like the most?

That's a great thread, Calvin. :thumb:

Johnny Carson is the one I like the most. He is in no question the King of the Comedy for Late Night Shows.

Although, I must say, Jay Leno has been awesome too. I mean, He's so hilarious and I love watching him making his monologues. :lol:

But to compare Johnny and Jay out of this - Johnny wins.

As for Conan O'Brien and David Letterman - Ehh.... I think I'll take David over Conan.
 
I love Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien.

However, I like Jay Leno a little more than Conan, so that's who I voted for. :)
 
I vote for Johnny Carson, he's a legend and all time favorite.

Leno is 2nd after Johnny. :)
 
Jay all the way...Im no Johnny Carson fan after all his tonight shows never had cc until it was passed on to Jay.
 
I liked watching Johnny Carson and Jay Leno.

I believe Leno is planning to do another nightly talk show which is supposed to be on after 10 o'clock - I am not sure if it would be a daily thing.

David Letterman is OK, but he is kind of like Conan O'Brien.

I think right now, Jimmy Kimmel is the coolest guy on the block.
 
i like Jay Leno he is so funny i always watch him

i don't care of Conan. my uncle loves david letterman

It is a daily night.
 
I like Jay Leno cuz he is so good to making jokes about politicians, famous people, sex and police blotter.

Also he makes sure to see that the Deaf audience in his old show get an interpreter.

I like Conan as well as Jimmy Fallon.
 
Johnny Carson is my parents favorite.

But I had to choose Jay Leno. He is hilarious. I absolutely loved the Off the wall newspaper clipping errors. That he would display.



The short lived Arsenio Hall Show, is another one of my favorites. :)

I remember Arsenio Hall show before, that was very cool show. It's a bummer it didn't last very long. :(

Edit: I checked the website, it said the show ran for 6 years.. hmm

The Arsenio Hall Show was an Emmy Award winning talk show that aired late weeknights in syndication from January 2, 1989 to May 27, 1994, and starred comedian/actor Arsenio Hall.

Yup he decided to end the show since he had other plans.

I remember the Hilarious movie. I absolutely loved. "Coming To America"


Jay Leno will be much missed.

He always jumped right in the middle of different controversies! He did not care who it was. He would joke about it!

He even gotten in trouble with "Lens Crafters" once when he made a comment about Super Man and a pair of Glasses from Lens Crafters.

I remember watching Johnny Carson years ago when I was a kid. I was not familiar with current events. So, I couldn't enjoy Johnny Carson as well as I wanted.

When I was old enough to understand a lot of things, I started enjoying Jay Leno. I also like Conan O'Brien too. :)
 
I can't really make a comparison since I am too young to appreciate Johnny Carson. But as for Leno vs Conan vs Dave. Mmm I liked them all! Conan cracked me up sometimes for some reason (mostly when he makes jokes about his hair), but Jay Leno was consistently funny. Dave Letterman was more clever/amusing, but I wouldn't say hilarious. I loved his Top Ten and Will it sink or float?

So I'd say Jay Leno for being consistently funny.
 
I like Jay Leno for Headlines. And he will still have that on his new fall show.

But I really like Conan O'Brien for his energy and physical comedy.
