When you go to the groceries store, Do you normally check the expire dates on canned foods, frozen foods and etc. ?

Once I've got a bag of chips that was expire 2 months ago! Now that I know to check the expire dates on all foods before putting in my shopping cart. Sometimes when the person who stack the shelves put the old bags in front and new bags in the back, Have you notice? But then they don't pay attention to expiration dates. That's why it's up to us to double-check the expiration dates.:)

ofc i always check all expiration dates.. but you can get all cans or chip bags, bread, others behind of the shelver. all things are front are ready to go bad .. u know.. i always grab behind of them.. haha!

Funny... I keep look at those dates say "best at" I wonder if we even eat on that date and it taste best?? panic me out! ;)

Yes, I did check them but sometime missed the date but it taste just fine... Yes, I am sicko! NOT!

Depending on how big food store is. I used to be stock person 3rd shift. I don't rotate at all. If your taking from back, sometimes it is OLD!

Only good trick to this plm is check to see how much dust is collected, then you'd know

Yes, I check the expire dates.

The workers are obigate to control all the expire dates accord Healthy Department law. Most of foods/milk are out of date within one or two days later offer half prices.

I took half prices alot and use it for weekends.

Of course, I do require check the expires and to make sure everything stacked into the freezer where kept the storage. 1 day old expires the meats.. Still ongoing good and can put'em into the freezer storage up to 1 month good enough. Rest all meats are always GOOD which comes from freezer.

Espically Breads/Milk prefer check expires and to make sure 2 wks still good.. if more than short expires soon.. No thanks. Will come bad taste.

ofc i do check before i buy cuz of if buy it was old date and waste my money.. nah... so becareful to check dates before buy it!!!! :D

Same with me!

Yup, I check the expiration dates on all kind of foods and milk too. If you go to Wal-Mart to buy groceries, and did not even pay attention to the expiration dates, you just took the foods home with you until you opened it and saw the mold or something then you can take it back to Wal-Mart and exchange it because I saw some people do that, but I never did that. I rather look at the dates first then put it in the cart.

If I see the expiration dates on food, I always tell a supervisor about it.

Unrelated this one, I installed a new cartridge ink for my HP printer. Two weeks later, my printer warned me that the cartridge will expired in two more days. I'm stunned because it is not food. Fortunately, I will receive another one in the mail. Isn't that werid? :dunno:

I always check the dates.. before i didn't. My daughter loves beef jerkys anyway i bought her one.. and she said mom its hard!!!! so i looked at the date it was expired a year ago! i filed a complaint and they gave her another one for free. gotta be careful with the food.. always check the dates!

I check eggs and milk the other food I expect to be good. Guess I shoulod spend more time.
