My son start school on Aug 28 and he cant wait for that. LOL I would be glad to have the house to myself. LOL

My grandmother, once, told me that her loneliest days were when the children returned to school. Then, she'd laughed and said, "I got over it fast!"

Glad to hear your college sched and home sched is giving you some "peace" time!

 it´s good to know that you spent your time for yourself for few hours... :D Wish you good luck at college.

My boys started their school holiday last Monday and will return to school on 16th September...

Me... ahhh I am retired of all my 4 grown up kids! Wheeew! No more raising them. They are now raising their OWN kids! :giggle:

I am glad that you desire a break for awhile. That's good! :thumb:

Phillips ... it's a perfectly normal reaction to feel 'free' when mothers have all their children at school and you have the house all to yourself. We all need breaks every now and again. Freedom!

Heh! I can relate to every mothers out there when their kids are off to school.

I remember the first time when the kids were sent to school, I felt guilty for feeling so happy getting few hours of a break during the day time because I was used to having them around me 24/7. It was an adjustment but through time, we all did just fine.

So, it's perfectly normal to feel that way for wanting a break. It doesn't mean that you are a mean mother because you aren't. :)

I remmy when my son went to headstart. On his first day gone on the bus to go to head start. I cried and knowing that he have gone to school but I have gotten over it and was glad to have him back home with me.
