drivin a car and signing to a passenger

I text while going 60mph++ in corners of the canyons here (posted signs are like 25-40mph)... yawn.

But signing while driving is not that hard at all. It's harder to pay attention to the person talking to you.

Nobody in here has accused you of being sane.

I drive and sign at the same time. One handed if I'm actively driving, two handed if I'm stopped. I would agree that receptively it would be difficult though.

I sign when I drive, but I just use one arm to sign and one to drive. I also don't sit there looking at the passenger doing long conversations. I usually make it quick statements/comments so that I can focus more on the road. :)

I can do all that and chew gum while I'm at it.
