WHAT DO YOU HAVE A DREAM ABOUT AS YOU WISH?

I WISH I CAN BE A GOOD LAWYER LIKE PERRY MASON (psss im lady, lol):lol:
ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO WORK AS CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR OR FORENISIC SCIENCE.
THOSE MUST BE HAVING HEARING FOR POLICE-C.INVEST. OR FORENISIC SCIENCE
I KNOW THERE IS DEAF LAWYER IN THE WORLD.

AM I CRAZY OR WHAT? LOL :) :):wave::lol:
 
No you are not crazy. I would love to be a detective or an investigator for the FBI.

Only one I know of who did it was Sue Thomas.
 
I dream of being in the forest and live in one. Even, when I was living in the bush long time ago, I was still dreaming of being with wild animals to communicate with and not being with family members. Years later, here I am living in the country with my husband who knows about living in the bush and so am I. Funny thing is I never dream of being in the career role that I want to be. All I care about is to be the Clerk Typist which I never got the job yet. I guess it is because many people have been telling me that I can not get the job because of my deafness. As a matter of fact, in the 60s and 70s, I had worked as a Keypunch operator and Keypunch verifier and then the computer came in and I am out of work. Hmmp! I was kind of piss off when I could not get hire for the job I wanted. :mad:

Nah, you're not crazy.

Just make sure it's a dream you really want to follow through on.

A lot of people say, "I have a dream to..." and never follow through with it because their interests change. :(

Why don't you go to law school or major in criminology?

I heard that alot of deaf people do work in labs.

And there have been deaf lawyers before.
Hope it goes well for you.
 
A friend of ours while I was growing up went to college and took all the criminal justice and such classes (70's & 80's) and at age 40 became a deaf undercover narcotics officer with the ATF stationed in Florida. He just retired and lives on the beach in the Florida Keys. He comes to West Palm Beach 4 times a year to see friends including us. I saw him for the first time this Christmas in 15 years.
