Emission inspections are important to solve the problem with air quality and poor air quality can be effect to other people that who have lung problem, such as ashtmas. There's nothing with republicans or democrats and emission is part of concern with environment issues, if you want removes the all emission inspections then LA will be end up like in 60's and 70's with completely smog infested because of all your fault. I'm support emission inspections because it take good with environment and our air quality in LA are much improving than in 60's and 70's. You just talk like bullshit because some people that who are republicans to take good care with environment, that it.

Same for South Carolina. No inspection but we have clean air. The worst air polluter in my area is the Westvaco paper mill. Ugh!

Nah, it need be keep up because some people start driving with smog infested then emission inspections are start again, it happened in most US cities. The emission inspection would start in Detroit in 2007 or 2008 because it had been stopped since 1995. You need read my post so carefully about LA and I don't state about Florida or whatever.
 
Don't forget to mention that some counties in Florida are requires emission inspections.

Not all part of Florida are good air quality though.
 
I used to live in Los Angeles for years and at that time, my car required to have smog emission test every 2 years. If the car is an older model then tested every year. The cost for smog test 10 years ago was $15 and now its gone up to $20-$30 dollars. And if your car is an older model then you have to go to a place listed on your DMV billing and pay more $$. Its strict here in California.

You don't know because California governor is republican and he supports emission inspection required and other republican governor in Texas supports emission inspection required too.
