I vote yeah because it gives chance for people to do REAL business with us on Alldeaf. They better not play tricks on us, though.

would like to discuss about Quicker IBO business to grow more 100 people in line up. It will help us successful income and earlier retirement. Focus on our children and great grandchildren at home than drive back and forth commute everyday especially in the winter time. blahhh I love to be home and relax to be with my husband and two sons everyday. Enjoy the garden and craft as much as I can.

I vote yes..

I don't mind! I vote yes.

I would like to learn something because I would set my business as furniture restoration one day ONLY IF I'm out of work.

I would suggest "business" section should fix like "Picture" and "Adult" section.

Yes I voted, home based business are good for us because they allow us spend time with family, and make money. No boss!

Yes, better to work alone because way too many bosses take advantage of Deaf people.

I keep taking jobs that are legitimate and I drive to work everyday then there is always something illegal and shady going on. I don't like it nor appreciate it so a real chance to work at home with no boss towering over me and telling me to do something that borders on illegal or just blatantly illegal is not right especially when it is a law abiding, honest and a legitimate job.

I would love to challenge new experience for Business forum...

My background experience: Marketing, Adversting Marketing sort of related my british bulldog cuz I'm breeder, Little graphics less lag stall heavy graphics HTML(Avoid heavy graphics), reviewing Billings... to see my background.. If r u wish talk out via use pm me! :D

Strongly for best interest for customers are happy and satisfty.

Yes Oceanbreeze, because I live in a small town so it is hard to get hired in a small town. I think this would help more Deaf people in small towns but also help Deaf people in the big city too as well. It would have to really be checked out by an AllDeaf reader who really has tried this program to earn some extra money.

It could be helpful to me as well. Again, I find the subject pretty dry, but I'm physically disabled, so the idea of having tips at my finger tips, is appealing. :)

I have thought of opening an e-bay account to buy things wholesale online or wherever I am then sell it online to earn money. E-bay does have some wholesale lots that you can buy then re-sell individually and get better profits with your cash flow. Right now I am just getting experience with buying nice things and old books online at http://www.ebay.com and once I have enough experience and understand the process then I will open an e-bay account then sell things online.

I vote Yes!! My hubby and I are setting up a business at home for ISL (Irish Sign Langauge). We are trying to make a books for ISL and also teaching hearing people ISL. That would be great Alex if you decided to set up the business forum it will help us alot and also give us idea etc. Go for it Alex!!!

I am still doing research on this online business which I really would enjoy doing. I made some phone calls on Sorenson VP-100 today and they said I do not need a storefront. People can order 100 % Organic Beef Jerky from the website under my name but first I want to sell to hearing people in my hometown to see how it works first and get some experience then business picks up and see what happens. They are a real company and seems like a good company to work with. I may start next month with this online 100 % natural beef jerky business next month. Desmistyroses33 referred me there. The website that I am looking at is :

http://beefjerkymom.jerkydirect.com/

If everything goes good then I will post the website, under my name and you guys can buy from me , One Deafie helping another Deafie like me plus another Hearing AllDeaf readers can buy from me but I have to make sure this is 100 % legitimate and so far it is legitimate but I won't know until I am really doing business with that company to know for sure.

Topics such as how to run a business, investments, making money online, etc. would take place in this forum. Would you like to see a 'business' forum?

Please vote!

Alex,

I've been on other websites and they have business forums and the like. I believe it would be a good idea because it provides not only networking opportunities, but a chance for deaf and hard-of-hearing people to be mainstreamed into society. So, no longer would we as such be known as "the poor us club," but savy investors and the like.

On the same note, I was fired from my job almost three weeks ago and decided to go into business for myself. I'll do my writing on the side, but my primary will be investing in houses that have been foreclosed on, fixing them up (if need be) and reselling. Basically, I'm using other peoples money (OMP) to do this, so my credit will not be used, not to mention that there are no loans in my own name, just the profit after closing the deal with an individual buyer.

This might be a good thing in terms of not just providing information about the various of types of businesses, but being able to share ideas with one another or helpful leads that others could very well 'follow' and try. ;)

In other words, 'yes' and see how it goes, it may go slowly at first, but given time, it'll pick up. ;)

Yes and this being an internet forum for Deaf people, their families, ASL interpreters and those interested in the Deaf world, we are as varied as we come from all walks of life and that when an AllDeaf reader says this business is legitimate ( the real deal ) then he or she is putting his or her business reputation on the line. That business reputation must be superb. That is why I will not do anything until I really know for sure this is the real deal because I will not put my business reputation on the line with Deaf people as we all know we have been ripped off from people who take advantage of Deaf people so that is something very serious to consider before you put your business reputation on the line. I want to be sure I can stand by the product that I am doing business with to that end the products that I am trying to go into a home based business for myself to earn some extra money has to be a superb and a very excellent product for all of you to buy from.

A business reputation is much more serious than a personal reputation.

You all can guess what Endymion thinks. ;)

I'm voting a-yup yes. I'm in agreement with Dennis, though. Dennis has a point with oversaturating the forum and that's something (you) Alex might want to be weary of. But really, your site is your domain (pun not intended) and you have the statistics to look at. Not us. And hey, it's your bottom line. ;)

Let's have us a business forum!

Just additional thought...

How about create one Forum for Males only...other Forum for Females only? :dunno:
