Yea!!!!!

I lived in Miami for 13 yrs--like everywhere, things cost a pretty penny but if you are careful where and what you spend your money on......and take advantage of Florida Resident Rates for theme parks in Orlando. Go in off season. That's September, October for us to name a bit, and the weather's great.

Jillio's quote--going in off season helps save a lot of money. Even Hawaii has a off season. Just not going there yet... LOL

If you are Orlando/Tampa resident and want go to Disney World so often then you can buy annual season pass. :)

That is the best advice. Tourist spots tends to be expensive and that's no secret. The local people are the best resource for you guys when you're traveling through or having a vacation out there because they tend to know where the best spot is at and they also do know where are the cheapest place to dine, shop, sleep at, so and on. Even better, there's always some bargains involved.

Also, The tourists spots are usually focused on one area and not oftenly, we get to see the real deal whereas if we flock among with the locals, we get to see more of the area. Sometime things are better off when it is on the hidden beaten path.

oh yea! We were just talking about this the other day. They're costly but within a year, we might do that and make it a family thing and start going often. My guy used to work at the WDW parks. :D

We're working on going to California Grill for my birthday in January!!!!

I go to puerto rico 2 times a year and if you stay in the high tourist areas it is more exspensive. I go all over the island and find great local places.:D

Oh yeah! My cousins went to Puerto Rico last May. They love it! I want to go someday if I am go on Caribbean Cruise. :)
