Is there any difference btwn Christain and Bapsist? dicuss!! :smash:
 
can you be specific please? why? they are same, fool.
 
Christian is a general definition while Baptist is a specific definition. Baptist is a kind of Christian religion. One can be Catholic, Lutheran, Mormon, Baptist, and still be a Christian.
 
I'm Roman Catholic but I'm very liberal-minded and always open to learning about other religions. I firmly believe that the world would be a better place if we were more open to learning about other cultures and religions. ;)

Wrong. Its not same. Im baptist. Christian itself dont believe in divorce, etc etc. I don't really discuss about religions. :cool:

UHH heather i think its catholics that don't belive in divorce??? christians belive in the holy bibles IM a christian but don t practice the faith .....

Baptist is part of christian therefore they are same, fool. that why you dont disuss about religions. you better research your own. im very knowledge about religions than you do, sorry.
 
i dont agreed about divorce stuff related to the bible. i believe that individual has own rights to make decision about divorce, not someone tells you that you can't divorce. that is dumb move.

Um, they're similar except that Christians have their own diversity opinions and belifs while Bapists have a specific beliefs. For example, my parents are Christians AND Bapists, they used to go to a Bapist church but call themselves Christians.

I am a Christian myself and I do believe in divorce when it is neccessary for a good reason due to abuse, cheating, and love itself.

i agreed with your opinions about bapist/christian.

Religions tends to lead "flame" like your religion is wrong. my religion is right. you can't do everthing. Different people want to understand what it about. that why people dont meant to flame each other. they want to make sure if they got undestand. that would be good agrue and helps their education. if flame is not exist how can we education each other by issues. so...
