I'm starting to see more and more members here wanting to sign with others on Skype, so I was wondering if you guys would like to see a dedicated page for Skype users. I'm thinking of making a list of ADers who would like to be listed on the page, and next to their username there would be a Skype icon that says whether you're available to chat or not.

Thoughts? :hmm:

Sounds good idea but there should be an option for them to turn it on whereas they can show here? :dunno:

I am sure others would like it. I have not used it and dont have skype and not familiar with it. eh.

If they don't want to skype with anyone, then don't add your skype name here.

I was thinking from JClarke's comment that even if we add ourselves to the list, we should be able to "turn it off" if we're not in the mood to Skype? That was how I interpreted his post. So, be able to be on the list, but not have to be on at the moment?

But... if you don't want to skype, won't you leave it turned off?

It's like AIM. You can have your AIM link, but if you're not signed on AIM... then the link won't work.

Good idea. That's the main problem with the ASL buddies thread. People have a hard time finding out who is on since so many people sign up and it is cluttered.
