Coretta Scott King 1927-2006

Awww :tears: .... Now that she is in heaven with her husband ...May she rest in peace and will always be in my memories forever :sadwave:

:( OH this news is so sad!!! Mrs. King was an Icon, a wonderful role model. She is going to be missed by so many people. She took up where her late husband left off, to keep her husband's dream alive. Now, they are together again, and my condolences go out to the family. They were blessed with 2 beautiful parent's. May they both rest in peace together now.

RIP Mrs Coretta Scott King -- she definately has become an icon over the years since MLK's death

:tears: AWWW this is so sad.. But in the better way, she is reunited with her husband for a LOOONG time. They are together in heaven now.

I admired her famous and the rights of speech for all people. Of course different colors have the dreams as we all do. We must be equal and treat each other as the same.

Rest in Peace, Mrs. King...

She was an amazing woman and I have admired her and her husband.

Sad to hear about this... Peace in Rest, Mrs Coretta Scott King

Now she's at peace with her husband MLK in heaven....they both had powerful influence in history. I'm glad they did that so that we can get along better with respect.

Rest in peace, Coretta. You're gone but you won't be forgotten by us and for other millions of American. You are also a role model to many of us and you'll be sorely missed by us too. I have always admirer her for her devotion to the civil rights leadership and many more. She's one of an unique woman in the 20th-21st century and definitely is a legacy to it's own.

Rest in Peace, Coretta Scott King! It's sad to see her go!

I heard her speak at something called Team Harmony when I was in high school.....I think it was my junoir year.

Know what's ironic?

We hosted a workshop earlier tonight in honor of MLK. This wasn't done at the last minute, but planned for weeks.

Coretta was a fine and godly influence on millions of people, not just African-Americans. I have high respect for her and her family. :thumb:

Hmmm...where's Heath? Surprised he hasn't posted yet, unless he's somewhere singing "The South Will Rise Again." Anyone know? Remind him to be nice, okay?
