as I, an foregien patron from Australia and I would like to say congratulations to everyone in America for making the right decision to boot outgoing president bush and prompting Obama to be the new president. I am very aware that a lot of you all, are very happy to see that Obama is now offically President Obama. Congratulations.

Long live, President Obama! May the future represent America.

Me too, I would like to add my congratulations ;-] personally I like Obama, he seems to have some great ideas and a charismatic style, let's hope he follows through on all his promises to the people of America.
 
I cried. It's our first African American president. I am so honored to be alive in this era to witness that.
 
i would also like to extend my congratulations to obama and his family. i think obama is going to make a wonderful president for the reasons romany mentioned. he is the 5th youngest american president to serve and represents a new generation. it's about time that the younger generation have a voice in our political system. go, obama! may the next 4 years turn america into the country it was meant to be.

Agreed - and for those racist or triple K types, get enrolled in biology classes! (We are the same species??? NO S#!T!!)
 
Thank you, JClarke. Actually, Bush couldn't have won even if he wanted to. Each president is limited to 2 terms. So he was out, no matter what. But I'm happy to see a new president in place.

Thanks JC Yea I am so glad that the Darn Bush is gone and feeling so relieved that he is gone. Now that Obahma is there and hope to have a great 4 yrs.

my congrats to Mr.President&First Lady (Mr.Obama and Mrs.Obama)

but Mr.Obama very young in his 40's im sure he will travels include European,African,and lots of mores in world to meet Prime Minister and President in worlds and also Majestys (King and Queen) somedays.
 
Yeah, congrats to Obama and his family. Today is a day that made me proud to be an American. When I first heard about him a year and half ago, I was pretty certain I was looking at our next President of the USA. I have the feeling he will be great and generations will remember him years from now as they do Washington, Lincoln and FDR.
